Like it better then my Gerber Dime
The product is what you think it is, a small keychain multitool. I got this because I was not overall impressed with my Gerber Dime and thought this might be a better replacement. I like that this tool has both the small pliers and the bigger folding scissors that.Comparing it to my Gerber Dime:1) it is slightly shorter (if you include the Dime's bottle opener), about the same thickness, but it is wider by at least 1/4 of an inch. (sorry don't know the metric equivalent).2) I like the longer knife blade and the blade shape better than the Dime's.3) The file is better (The dime file is useless)4) The screwdrivers have a little longer reach (which I like), and the heads are better.5) I like the bigger scissors, though the dimes work fine, I just use the scissors a lot and prefer the bigger one better.6) The pliers are about the same, nice to tighten small bolts or cut "thin" wire. The dime's nose on the pliers might be slightly better. I don't really use the ends much, other than to pull out an occasional splinter, and I think both work fine.7) I have tested the can opener, and it works, though I don't think I will use it much. The dime doesn't have a can opener.8) The bottle opener works better than my Leatherman Wave's and works well. The dimes bottle opener is really good also.9) The Dime comes with a box opener (I think that is what they are called), which I do use a lot, and the Dime has some tweezers, but they are pretty wimpy. I just used the pliers and that has worked so far.10) Time will tell how durable it is. My dime is three or 4 years old and still works the same as it did when I first got it.

Design So Cool but Cheaply Made, Over Priced. (UPDATE REVIEW)
Product ReviewNexTool Flagship MiniThis is a key chain size mini multi-tool made by NexTool. Made in China. It is in the size category of Leathermen Squirt and Gerber Shortcut.I ordered this from Amazon to put it in a pocket pack EDC (Every Day Carry) kit. When it arrived, as soon as I opened the pliers a plate flew off and made the handle of the pliers go limp. It was returned for a replacement.Pictured in this review is the replacement. The metal seems of good quality. The blade and scissors are very sharp. Both blade and scissors cut very well.I used the pliers to pinch and hold various items and it did a fair job. The wire cutter on the pliers could NOT cut through a wire from a ceiling fan. The plier's wire cutter is only good for cutting bread tie thick wires.I opened a can of Ravioli and it took every bit of 4 minutes to do it. The fact that it did open the can will give it a Better Than Nothing award.Any medium to heavy use will break this tool. This tool is only recommended for opening letters, boxes, prying and screwing small electronic or doing fine delicate work not requiring force. It does not inspire confidence as a leatherman Squirt or even the Gerber Shortcut does. The blade however is sharper than the Gerber's.Pros:Very sharp blade and scissors. Good design.Cons:Lacks strength and durability. Cost as much as the competition but quality of build not as good. Conclusion:As a "key chain" tool, it does not exceed any expectations nor does it inspire any confidence. It is not worth the price. I cannot recommend this tool to be used in any level of a EDC.UPDATE:Above review was written after my experience with the first one that arrived and broke as soon as I tried to open the pliers. So far the replacement has not broken. I have been using it to cut paracord to make paracord bracelets and to pinch hold the ends while I melt the ends with my lighter. I have also used it to open boxes and at least one can. I carry it as pictured above......Although it still feels a bit fragile, It has served me well so far.

Review of NexTool Flagship Pro
SAFETY WARNING - On the initial opening of the blade, the blade lock may not fully engage until you apply more positive pressure. This means the blade can close up on you if any negative pressure is applied. This is especially concerning because your index finger sits right over the blade lock when holding the multi-tool.I pried the blade lock to the right until it passed the blade all together and then pried it back to the left. Now the blade lock moves a little more centered (ONLY WHEN APPLYING POSITIVE PRESSURE ). Otherwise, the blade lock still does not fully engage on the initial opening of the blade. I had a pocket knife with this exact problem and it caused a deep cut on my finger when it accidently closed up. Still have my finger and it was a major learning experience. To compare, I added a picture of the Leatherman Skeletool. When you open the blade, the blade lock fully engages and the blade lock moves all the way to the right. The blade lock on the saw of the NexTool Flagship Pro functioned better. The blade lock on the saw engaged more to the center upon initial opening and moved all the way to the other end like the Leatherman when more positive pressure was applied. In regards to the rest of the functions of this multi-tool, the spring loaded pliers were nice. However, the "replaceable" wire cutters are either so hard to find or does not exist because I've yet to find those parts. It does not have a Phillips head screwdriver only a flat head. It does say it has a slotted screw driver but do not mistake that for an actual Phillips head screwdriver. The spring loaded scissors were interesting. Good size and cuts paper as well as rope nicely. The Glass Impactor is a joke. Its so small and positioned in the wrong place. Hardly worth mentioning or adding it as a function. I haven't tested the rest of the tools yet.In the end, I gave this NexTool Flagship Pro 2 Stars. The biggest flaw (or major flaw) was the blade lock for the blade. This multi-tool has some weight to it so it feels very sturdy. It has a nice finish. I doesn't look cheap. I paid $35.95 for this. I do feel like this multi-tool was at least worth that much and would make a good gift. However, I would recommend buying a Leatherman Rev ($39.95), Leatherman Bond ($49.95) or a Leatherman Wingman ($59.95). Leatherman is just better overall (quality, versatility, value, and warranty).

Build quality is less than desired.
Pliers when folded in, handles wiggle a fair bit and wont line up properly. When folded out, the wiggle is less but still some play in them. Saw is a bit hard to get out as are the other tools besides the knife and scissors. the saw could use a cutout like the knife to fix the problem. Scissors has a cutout on one side of the handle but if it was on both sides, it would make it easier to pull out.
