Eggsnow (2-Pack) Eyepiece Eyecup Eye Cup EG Replacement for Canon EOS-1D X / 1Ds Mark III / 1D Mark IV / 1D Mark III/EOS 5D Mark III / 7D

Bought these eye cups for my Canon 1D3, and 1D4 and it works and fits perfectly. Please note! this is why I gave it 4 stars...the rubber cushion for the eye cup is cheaply made and will come off if it gets hung a little from being in a camera bag. When pulling the camera in and out of a camera bag the viewfinder sometimes tend to stick a little in those tight slots so if you are not careful and paying attention you will lift your camera to your eye to snap a picture to find that the cushion isn't there as I have done this twice already. Hopefully for some who have bought this may not have had this issue so I am putting it out there for the average camera bookbag user. Still a good product that I would recommend as an alternative, and with that low price that it is... I don't mind buying extra's.

Not quite as well made as the Canon OEM part, but close enough that when it is attached to the camera no one will notice. The "Canon" logo is missing from the inside and these are a little harder to remove than the original. Pinching the sides does not seem to disengage the hooks the way the OEM part does, and it takes a little more force to pull the eyecup off the camera. If you're mainly going to leave it in place this is a good economical alternative to the OEM replacement part that costs a lot more. If you need to frequently remove and replace the eyecup, you may be better of going with the OEM part.3 stars for the quality of the part.5 stars for the price.4 stars overall.

Really nice (and cheap) replacement eye piece. I'm a professional wedding photographer and have these on my 5dm3's and 6d's. From my experience, the only thing potentially less consistent than the more expensive options are that these don't latch onto the camera quite as well, but for the price it isn't worth it to me because they typically pop off anyway. Buy these!

These eyecups fit OK on a Canon 7d, but don't snap on securely, so they will likely fall off and get lost at some point. Also, while they do not obscure the viewfinder, the cutout in the eyecup is slightly misaligned with the viewfinder. It's not something you will likely notice while using it, but it is apparent if you look for it.

Does the trick but is not high quality like the original ones and mine do not seem to lock in place like the original ones did.
