if you have nes super tecmo, youll want this too
some improvements and more options, like being able to change playbook in-game. although, i think movements are sharper in the nes version, there seems like almost a slight delay here.game lets you know when a RB or WR has 100 yards, 300 for a QB. rosters as of preseason '93. graphics somewhat improved, inherently. you can have up to 15 minute quarters. 2 extra DBs on defense roster (only to replace injured DBs), also makes some DBs eligible to be kick returners such as deion sanders. some QBs who were not named in prior game are now named (e.g. 'BILLS QB' jim kelly). on punts, you can use one of the front men to throw a block as you want him to before the ball reaches the returnman.gameplay is essentially the same. field goals and even extra points are more difficult. on short yardage situations you can run a DIVE PLAY, which functions automatically in a make-or-dont make style.

Internal battery won't save the game but the game itself plays great and was shipped fast.

One of the best games ever
THis is one of the best games ever. It's a lot better than the orginal two Tecmo Bowls on NES. There's no "Bo Jackson" in this game, except Barry Sanders is pretty close. For those of you who have played these games, you know what I'm talking about. I will play this with my kids and their kids after that.

A classic
This is for someone who wants to be nostalgic about early 90's NFL players. Also, simple as it was, the game is one of the greatest in my opinion. You can alter the playbook to suit player and team strengths. I love this game and if you have SNES, NES, or Genesis, this is a good buy!

I love this game, came fast and works.No football game beats this ever.This is the game I grow up with, love seeing all my favorite old playersPlus it's to simple for my kids to play, so I can beat them
