CoronaCLIPPER 6250-1T Replacement Part Blade 6250, BP 4250, Chrome

I have a pair of BP 6250 that needed a new blade. Ordered these, they didn’t come close to fitting. Turns out after speaking with pleasant folks in Customer Service, they updated the blade 30 years ago, changed to red handles, and life carried on. So apparently I’ve had these working like a champ for more than 30 years, and if yours have GREEN HANDLES as well, then the rounded end of blade won’t fit into its recess in blade area of handle. I’m sure this blade is a lovely fit if yours have red handles. Considering how good my antique pair has been, perhaps it’s time to spring for a new pair. I also have one of Corona’s extension pole pruners and it’s a great tool as well. Great Customer Service people.

Fast delivery of this very sharp blade

The Amazon product description (which comes from Corona) says it fits all BP 4250 and BP6250 pruners. It clearly does not fir my BP6250 pruners, maybe because they are older than the ones currently being sold. It is not fair to give this blade a bad review because I have never used it; the description and Corona are getting the one star review. I am hoping Corona will reply with a correct pn and a way to purchase it. I have been to the Corona website and there is no option to buy replacement parts, only complete tools.

The problem is that these are supposed to be professional quality shears but I have personally broken 2 blades in less than a year on my pair. Corona just isn't what they used to be. I have a couple older pairs that are worn out but they're pretty much Unstoppable. The only reason I don't use them anymore is the plastic handles that the super heavy duty blade Mount to are deteriorated and not worth using.
