they can easily afford to have their own
New cheap electronics are really spoiling us. At work I was using meter of the same accuracy but hundred times heavier and bigger, costing around $1000.00. Being retired for several years I had no access to my old conductivity meter at work, but after installing maintenance pump I wanted to check if water discharged from my swamp cooler is not too salty to be used for watering my plants. The answer was - NO, my water after 8 hrs circulating in the cooler and later mixed by maintenance pump with fresh water for rinsing pads for few minutes, is on discharge about 30% more salty than my tap water but still less salty than was tap water in my office, 2 miles away. Thanks to my new purchase I know that I can safely use water discharged from swamp cooler for watering my plants . My friends want to borrow my meter to check hardness of their water. I agree with them it's interesting even if they do not use evaporative cooler. But if they want to run frequent tests, they can easily afford to have their own.

Works fine for me
I use this meter to check the ppm of my hydroponic garden with good results. It has stayed calibrated or four months and the battery is holding out. Very easy to use and read when checking ppm of solutions,

First experiences: good device
I only have this device for 4 weeks. First experiences are good. Measurement is fast and seems reliable.Only remarkt display is small and the figures are vertically.
