Shallows of Night: Book Two of the Sunset Warrior Cycle

Ordered this book along with the first in the series. This book brand new wonderfully packed and got here way before they said it would, highly recommend this seller. Problem is cant read this without the first in series and that book has been delayed to the Seller being horrific in everything they have done Super Books sucks

The author knows how to tell a story.Each of the first two books in the series holds your interest with well developed characters and action.Mysteries, magic, love, loss, swords, and great evils to battle.Extremely well written.High hopes for reading the third and final book in the Sunset Warrior series.

Lustbader's imagination goes full tilt as the pages fill with characters and storylines that surpass even prepared expectations. A bit loquacious throughout, but bold and striking, as the battle for mankind unfolds.

Wordy but interesting!, I like Lustbader's books but this was drawn out. I still intend to read the rest of the series.

If you're a Lustbader fan you'll love this story of magic and martial arts - if not a fan I don't know what to tell you.

Intrigue, suspense, and action. It's all here! A continuation of a fantastic story, by an author that paints pictures in the mind.

Read the series when first publish, enjoyed it, but my copies were destroyed by water damage, so glad these have been released for Kindle!

(corrected Version!)Lustbader is once again in his element in this second book in the Sunset Warrior series. He is adept at formulating complicated descriptions of observations and mental processes within the varying plot sequences. He keeps the reader guessing as to how the hero will survive against overwhelming supernatural adversaries - one assumes he will survive because of the third book, but the intriguing question is just how this will all come about. He keeps the tension Level high throughout the book down to the last page! Excellent - And if you're thinking of his 3rd novel already, buy it. Also an excellent read and I'm looking forward to the 4th and 5th books in the series.
