The pliers work great for removing and reinstalling split rings on the standing rigging for my sailboat. I like the stretch line from the pliers holder because I ‘occasionally’ drop things (expensive tools and boat parts) from my sailboat. I gave the fish lip gripper to my son-in-law because he’s a fisherman. Also, I don’t think it’s legal to fish from a sailboat. At least that is what I tell my friends that are powerboaters.

I used these all summer, not once did I lose my pliers in the water! Love it! Only downside is the quality of the pliers aren't the greatest, they sometimes bend when trying to get the hook out of a fishes mouth when its really in there. Other than that, they've been great and haven't rusted. I've dropped them over the edge of my kayak multiple times and the cord does its job well

Really nice fishing pliers. The cutting part is super sharp and cuts small diameter braid with ease. The ring remover tip is fantastic. Nice holster and bungee cord to keep it close.

The pliers I received cut braid and any fishing line with ease as they are super sharp and overall, well made. I just wish they had a latch to store the jaws in a closed position similar to garden secateurs. The fish lip grips are of compact size 220mm and will fit easily into any smaller tackle box.
