I don’t usually write reviews, but this wallet has already convinced me it’s a winner. I just received it, so I can’t comment on durability. The construction appears very sound, with good materials and an attractive, understated look. I was looking for something that was bone simple but very useful, and this is it. For all of it’s simplicity, it is fully featured but does not waste material or weight on superfluous, unnecessary ‘features.’ It does exactly what I need it to do, and well. It fits all of my shorts/pants back pockets and is as small and unobtrusive as it can be while still being a combination wallet and Field Notes carrier. I have five cards, cash and a Field Notes notebook in it with plenty of room to spare. It has a deceptively thin profile, I really thought it would thicker but it isn’t. If I lost this, I’d replace it with the same thing without hesitation. Ordering with Prime had it delivered to me the next day, and that was on a weekend. Can't beat lightning quick shipping of a superior product. Highest recommendation.

This field notes and passport cover is one of the nicer leather items I’ve bought in a while. I travel weekly for work as a Project Manager and this product is great! Passport, Credit Cards, and field notes all kept in my back pocket for utmost convenience. The price is very reasonable for something of this quality, especially coming from a USA company. I had bought similar products that were top sellers for a lesser price but nothing to this quality. I was also looking for something that was a unique color rather than the standard brown and black leathers. This slate grey is even better in person than in the photos. The construction and attention to detail in the craftsmanship is very impressive. Not to be overlooked, but the packaging and unboxing experience was pleasant. It came with a short handwritten note from Standard Knight and a soft faux burlap sack protecting the leather field notes cover. Overall, I would not hesitate to buy again, and would recommend to others to try this out!

I purchased this because I liked the look, the versatility of the inside for cards and passport, and the Hemingway name. The product did not disappoint. The leather is super soft and think, the stitching is very well done and there is plenty room inside for credit cards, passport etc. I did wish it had a pen loop but after chatting with the company, the were afraid the loop and pen would cause too much bulk which is understandable and they have other models with pen loops. I have started to use this when I travel to set up new hire orientations for U.S. Navy civilians and it works great. I'd say I'd buy another but I feel this will probably last longer than I will ever use it.Rob

I am a picky buyer and this year I happen to have a ton of international trips lining up for business and leisure (Shanghai, Frankfurt, Hong Kong then Rome). I wanted something simple, robust, and good looking to hold a passport and a couple of credit cards and business cards. As a tumi fan myself, I looked at tumi's stuff but got really underwhelmed by their inventory and offerings in a couple of stores in NYC. Turned online next and I was so happy that I found this beautiful and reasonably priced piece that fits all my needs. I am recommending this piece to my friends unless they are ready to get a louis vitton passport cover.

I bought this wallet for it's rustic good looks to use in Europe to carry my passport, money, cards and for the little notebook to jot down memories, ideas, to do lists, doodle and whatever. It exceeded my expectations. So much so that I've decided to use out as my everyday wallet now that I's back in the states. It fits great in my back pocket and I love the versatility of it. Highly recommend.

I'm a Field Notes nut and I've been looking for a high quality billfold that doubles as a cover for my pocket notebooks. I've bought several of these on Amazon and have been disappointed in them. BUT NOT THIS ONE. This fits my notebooks perfectly, has ample room for ID, credit cards and cash. And it fits in my back pocket. The craftmanship on this product is great and the packaging has a boutique personal touch that I appreciated.

The quality of this product is extremely high and I'm in love with the velvety feel of the leather. I can't wait to put this to use as I explore the rest of the US's national parks and write down all my thoughts. Highly recommend!
