Great Product - works well.
I was glad to find this Iomega USB Zip Drive since they have not been made for awhile. Works great and allowed me to access and recover data on some old Zip disks.

Still does the job many years later.
It's too bad that the Iomega ZIP technology for the rewritable archiving and transport of moderate sized files has long been overtaken by Flash Drives and even the ubiquitous DVD. These old discs and drives were a lot of fun and very reliable. This version was a 250 MB drive, whereas my old stuff was stored on 100 MB discs. Copying to and from the ZIP 250 was very slow in my case, but I have read that speeds are much better when using 250 MB discs.If the capacity of discs could be raised to, say, 8 GB (at $10), I would STILL give it the ZIP Drive another look. I HAVE had Flash drives fail on me; I don't think that ever happened with my old ZIPs.

Iomega ZIP 250MB Drive
The days of "250MB" has gone. Only reason I bought this was to retrieve my archival datas stored in the 250MB cartridges. After that it is useless. It's the time for the memory size of "GBs" and "TBs."
