Enabled 16.4ft RGB Color Changing Kit with LED Flexible Strip, Controller with 44-button Remote Controller + 12 Volt Power Supply

I bought 2 kits from this seller in the same order just recently and another some time ago. The outer packaging of the new set was the same, but the items inside were different from each other, and both were different from the one I got before. The most notable difference is the way the end of the string terminates. One set has a 2nd female connection plug (allowing multiple sets to be strung together) while the other two did not. Of the two lacking the back plug, one(the older order) ended in 4 individual insulated wires, while the other ended in a patch of printed tape with 4 exposed contacts. It is still possible to extend these sets, but only if you are willing to do some soldering.I noticed some people complaining about bad remotes, but mine seem to work fine, and all 3 are interchangeable. I suspect that some of the problems other people attributed to bad remotes were actually the receiver or something in the control electronics. One of my sets does not respond to about half the commands from the remote, and it's the same set of commands that won't work no matter which of the 3 remotes I use. On the sets that do work completely, all 3 remotes work perfectly. This is a non-issue for me as I was already planning to connect the strings together, and as such need only one working control box and power supply.Conclusion:At $5 a set, I think this is a great deal despite the problems, and given the interchangeability of the parts, the risk is minimal if you buy multiple sets. I'm considering buying more.

This is a good value for the incredibly low price. This is the one to get as a starter kit to get your ideas and decide where you'd use it. Compared to the cost of LED bulbs like the multi-color Hue lights, you can light your whole house with these for the price of one Hue bulb..The LED strip gets bright enough to make background mood lighting. I'm planning to install several strips behind a valence at the ceiling to reflect down into the room. With the remote you can choose about any color you desire and fire off some wild lighting effects. The remote is IR, meaning you have to point it at the IR receiver, which is on a cable on the controller module.The strip does have the add-on LED strip connector so I'd assume you can string 3 or so together, with the limit being the power supply. You can easily find other power supplies and controllers on Amazon.The first kit I received had a bad controller module. It would only flash for a fraction of a second. Amazon sent a replacement kit, which is what let me figure out which part was bad. As I write this the kit is down to $6.00 which is an insane value. GO FOR IT!

I LOVE these.Packaging:Came in nice organized packaging, in a bright reflective bag. Each product was then subdivided.Lights:I bought 4 of these for over 64 feet of lights.The LED tape is incredibly bright and impressive. I live in New England for school and I anticipate these bright lights will help me avoid the grey of winter.I would warn that 64 feet runs out very fast if you are planning on trimming a room or making creative projects (infinity mirrors, shelf lighting, etc.)When the price is right, buy in bulk.The only Con I have about this product is the weak adhesive tape. When put on low surrounding the tape holds well. but when trimming my ceiling I needed to buy DOUBLE SIDED TAPE. If you plan on using these on an elevated service, DOUBLE SIDED TAPE is a must.Controller:Does what is is supposed to. Amazing range of colors and option.Power Source:Provides power. Great cord length.I am extremely pleased with this purchase. one of the best things I have ever spent money on. I have trimmed my entire entertainment room with these and they look great. I highly recommend them.But make sure you buy DOUBLE SIDED TAPE. Seriously, you're going to need it.

The flexible tape that acts as backing and electrical wire is flimsy compared to the other LED tapes I've used, and is not pigmented, meaning you can see the copper conductors inside (which might be a feature if that's what you're going for). I bought 5 since these were on sale for $5.50, which is a great price for 5 metres -- heck, it's an alright price for the power supply alone. One of the controllers can't *quite* turn the blue channel all the way off, meaning that colours tend to be a bit bluish (and "off" is a dim blue until you pull the power out).If you know what you're doing, you could hook a bunch of these up to your own controller and make something really cool. Or just light the inside of your car. If these are on sale, and you like lighting stuff up, definitely grab one.

Bought these to add some lighting to my home theatre room. So far so good. The lights and the remote work well. As others have said, the sticky back tape leaves a lot to be desired, but not really a deal breaker. Placed some under the frame of the reclining sofa, and it looks great. I bought quite a few kits, so I'm thinking about placing some around the surround sound speakers as well. I do wish they had a bit longer lead that went to the power block, the way it is now I had to cover the lights on the part of the strip leading to the outlet. Also, wish there was a smaller power brick, as this one is a bit hard to hide, however, it seems to be a pretty standard size. Overall satisfied.

I must say... These Worked Perfect... I bought 2 16 foot strips for my computer/3D printing workshop/Man Cave thinking they are cheap if all else fails I will build them into my printer... Hung both along the ceiling and it's plenty bright.. light from all directions rocks for watching my prints. Only thing I didn't like is the DIY BUTTONS... After some screwing around I figured this thing out... I had the same problem as everybody else.. "Do It Yourself Button?" More like " Figure It Out Yourself Button" lol ;-> Well long story short.. Select DIY#.. all are set too RGB Max position setting at first (White). Lower them too the color ya want.. For purple keep pressing the green down button to leave only red and blue and so on.. hope this helps. *Waves*

Ya subieron pero yo tuve la oportunidad de comprarlas a una fracción de su precio actual, lastima que subieron, ahora no creo que valgan lo que cuestan.El sensor del remoto se desconfigura con facilidad, yo accidentalmente lo desconfigure usando el control de la TV.

Todos estos colores iluminan mi habitacion son de muy facil instalacion y tienen muy buenos materiales y se nota que duran mucho tiempo, aparte de que casi no gastan electricidad

Siguen funcionando tras 1 año de uso diario excelente iluminación el efecto de cambiar tonos es Excelente y da un toque distinto en mi habitación
