Service Caster SCC-EX20S514-PPUB-TLB-MTG41-4 Work Table Tube Legs Casters with 7/8" Expanding Stem Caster and Brake, 5" Polyurethane Wheel (Pack of 4)

I bought these after three of the four wheels on my desk collapsed,I should be clear that it was not the wheels themselves that collapsed but, the inserts that went into the legs that the casters screwed into.The casters themselves were fine but the inserts were not salvageable.Realizing that I likely needed posts that went further up into the legs I searched around and came across these.Not only do they seem as though they will be more stable since they go further into the legs but the wheels are 5 inches which I like better than the 3-inch casters I initially had on my desk.The expanding stem can be hard to get quite snug enough but, between how much further these insert into the legs and the fact that these casters are rated for more weight than the previous casters I had on here I feel much more secure.The reasons I did not give this 5 stars is the small issue I mentioned about having an issue getting the expanding stems to be snug enough and also that the locking mechanism does not exactly LOCK the wheels. They do tighten up but you can still turn them by hand which means they would definitely still be able to roll under the weight of a heavy desk.This is not really much of an issue for my situation but, if being as immobile as possible is what you are looking for you may be a little disappointed in these casters,Other than that, these seem like a well make, durable product.Time will tell if my assessment is correct,
