Excellent machine tool task light
I mounted this light on my band saw because I needed good lighting to guide cuts down pencil layout lines. It works very well for this task. In fact, the little circle of light projected on the work is almost too bright. I like the small size of the light head because I can place it just outside of my vision line of sight and still direct it exactly where I need it. I mounted the base on a shop made magnetic base so I can change it around very easily. The mounting base of the light is not a standard size or configuration so you need to come up with your own solution for mounting and wiring. All in all, this little light is a great value for the dolar.

Not 12 volt
Thought it was 12 volt .It is 110 volt . Not bright at all .I sent it back

Wrong color
Product was as advertised but had a soft white led rather than a bright white led, which is preferable for reading.

Do the Job; Very Well
These units replaced other LED lamps over the headboard of the bed. They are much better: easy to adjust and bright so as to relieve eye strain.
