The Juzu arrived 24 hours after I ordered it and I didn't anticipate the strong emotional reaction I had after I received it. As a work of art, it is beautiful and well made. As a sacred object to help me on my spiritual journey, it is powerful. The juzu came in a cloth pouch that was respectfully placed in the perfect sized cardboard box. The Jodo Shu tradition is very small in the USA, there are more temples in Hawaii than in the continental US so to receive these while living in northern California has a lot of meaning for me.
