Very well-made & easy to install. Get proper sized hooks, though
The media could not be loaded. Ok so I’ve only had this up for an hour now, so I can’t comment on long term durability. But I like it a lot already. The first impression of build quality is excellent. The sail material appears very durable, the edge stitching is stout, the metal corner hardware looks bulletproof, and the cable that runs around the outer edge offers added robustness. The install was pretty simple, and the mounting hardware the manufacturer recommended to purchase with it is very stout. HOWEVER, the hooks on the 6” turnbuckles are too small to fit the eye in the metal corner hardware of the sail. Easily fixed by heating one hook eye on each turnbuckle with a MAP torch and then bending it open a little, but it’s still something to be aware of when purchasing the recommended mounting hardware for this shade.Update after a few weeks: still love it. It hasn’t sagged or required any adjustments. Looks great, like it’s a part of the house. We’ve had a few strong wind storms, and had no issues with it left in place. It blocks some light rain, but is permeable so I can’t sit under it in a rainstorm. But I knew that prior to purchasing. The corner that it shades has become my favorite morning coffee lounge spot. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade to my outdoor living space.

Very durable and long lasting, 5 years so far
This is the best quality sun sail product I have seen. I have had it for 5 years and it is still going strong. Lowered my pool water temp and reduced algae growth. No tears or uneven stretching out anywhere. You will have to tighten it occasionally as the cables slowly stretch from the tension and wind pressure, a normal process. It did break a wooden support board at the top of my fence it was anchored to when we had an unexpected snow and ice event here in Texas, but no damage to the sail or cables. Now I take it down every winter(duh). I highly recommend this product over the other cheap solutions that you will find.

This was the best investment I ever made.
Hung this from house over pool for shade. Works great. Lasted through high winds that actually ripped eyelet from house. These things are made to last. Still looks and works great after 3 years. I will buy small one for over barbeque next.l

Held up about 2 years in non ideal circumstances
I got three of these. I feel like they help a LOT during summer. I bought them to provide the pups shade in the hot California valley summer. I have kept them up all season(s) ish. Winter they are kind of a nuisance. Last year I had to take them down mid winter as we were getting crazy winds up to like 60mph. So I ended up unhooking 2 of 3 sides BEFORE the huge wind storm because they were definitely going to get ruined. They made it through winter 2022 unhooked. Once I hooked them back up I didn't get the same tension I had the first time. They made it perfectly through summer and most of winter 2023. Now the winds have picked up again. I considered taking them down again this year Jan 2024 but it was such a pain in the butt to take them down. As I sit here looking at them go crazy in the wind right now. I am wishing I had taken them down again. One of the shades bit the dust due to the wind. I have NO clue what happened. It's like the entire center was ripped out (see photo) As far as I know, there were no rips or tears. Admittedly that shade is not one that is visible from inside the house, so I don't see it very often. So if there was a rip or tear I wouldn't have known.I had to attach one sail with a ratchet strap due to the distance of the posts. That one has the most amount of tension. That one has held up the best. I bought a new shade sail today to replace the damaged one. I will be buying ratchet straps for all of them moving forward. Tension is the key. The more slack you have the quicker they will get damaged.

Very well made, very strong! Great Shade!
This is a Really great shade. This is our second season using it over our pool and it still looks good as new. We added a strong spring to one of the attachment points (helps with tension in the wind). I saw a review where someone complained about the wire hanging out at the corners. This is not a problem. When then shade is stretched the edge wire tightened up nicely. My only problem with this shade is the beige color, which we purchased, is almost more yellow than beige. But overall extremely happy!

Broken cable at first sign of wind. Warranty not honored
I have ordered three of these shade sales to install in our backyard. As you can see from the pictures they are installed correctly and professionally. Unfortunately their sizing is completely inaccurate. When they say it is a 22 foot shade sale it is more like 23 1/2 feet per side. On top of that there is also inconsistencies per side as far as that length goes, meaning one side may be 23 1/2 feet and the other side is 24 feet. This makes it very challenging to set up the structures in order to hold the shade sails. I actually went through three different sizes of the shade sails trying to find any sort of consistency to be able to mount them but none of them were the correct size as far as what they stated online. I did however get them installed finally. The center brown one has been no problem, it has been through several windy days and some storms with no issues. The tan ones however were much more inconsistent with sizing and after our first windy day the cables broke on both sails. Now both sails are sagging and have no more adjustment available. I have a lot of time and money invested into this arrangement and now I have to start over trying to find sails that are built to last. I do realize that these aren’t the most expensive shade sails but it is still very disappointing that they are made so cheaply that they can’t even hold their own weight. I am well past the return window through Amazon and even though I have sent in seller feedback mentioning these issues, I really doubt that I will hear anything back from the seller to remedy the situation. I guess time will tell.Update: 8/8/22As I thought the company/seller has not made any attempt to try to resolve the issues or even given a response whatsoever. It is a shame but I would definitely suggest staying away from these shade sails.

Durable material
This shade is made of durable material. It was a project to install, we had some issues with the cables running smoothly through the coupler inside the material.
