Great guitar
I bought this guitar for my wife to learn on. I am already a guitar player. This really is an impressive instrument. The packaging was excellent and the guitar was immaculately presented with no flaws inside or out. The guitar played really well straight out of the box, particularly the neck with perfect fretwork and a well cut nut. The sound is excellent. It has the tone you would expect from a Parlor with a bright and resonant quality that is lovely. The solid spruce top imparts a sweet and articulate tone. Overall, I am really impressed. I would have been happy if I had paid 3 or 4 times what this cost! Well done Fender.

Great guitar for a learner with small hands
I bought this guitar for my granddaughter as her music teacher recommended and a Parlour guitar to replace her 1/4 size classical (nylon strings). It sounds much better than her previous guitar. She loves it and her playing is improving. If there was one thing that would improve the purchase it would be if a decent bag was included, in fact it doesn't include any bag at all! Otherwise I would've given it 5*.

Nice guitar that sounds good.
Brought this to replace a dreadnought, which I never felt comfortable with. As it's bit smaller I find it easier to play. Well built, sounds good and comes at a reasonable price too, so what's not to like?

Beautiful sound and perfect for smaller fingers.
First off, this product arrived in perfect condition with no obvious flaws. Tuning was a breeze and not far off out of the box. Keeps in tune well. Playing the guitar was so much simpler for my smaller hands. I gave up playing previously as I had some trouble with the size of a standard guitar. The sound is rich, not “tinny” like you might expect from a smaller guitar. I’m impressed with the complete product and encourage anyone starting out to choose this guitar. Fender consistently pts out a good product.

Dang good deal
For the $, Fender deliverd & considering other reviews, I may have gotten extremely lucky. But I think not! Fender has been around awhile & has a reputation to defend, so I think the reverse is true & once in a while a dud gets through, especially in mass production. Now for my experience. this parlor rings high as most parlors do, esp. when capo'ed. the sound is sweet, full & well balanced for a small git'fiddle though. The frets are well rounded & free of buzz, had to lossen B/2nd string & pencil lead in the nut groove to rid of a crick when tuning (not unusual), bracing & build is clean of excess glue n such, 'cepten bottom side of neck to (great sounding) sound board, a wee bit o sqeeze, but not enough to takeaway from overall quality & playability and to my ear a sweet sounding & favorable priced instrument.

A beautiful guitar but needs some setup
I bought the parlor guitar (cp60s) but it was damaged so Fender sent me a concert guitar (cc-60s) as a replacement because they don't have the parlor in stock. So first of all a big thank you to the superb customer service from Fender. So now I have the chance to compare these two guitars. The parlor guitar is set up alright and it feels good on the finish. The light weight and small size make it a perfect second guitar for travel. However the tone is not balanced - meaning that it resonates (amplifies) too much on the highs. So you will need to make some hardware adjustment (adding some weight to the bridge by changing the plastic pins, etc.). As the other customer pointed out, the strings are a bit too heavy ... well I think it's one way by design to balance the tone. I can feel that the guitar is struggling when it's played. So if you really care how it sounds and like the look, I would suggest you go to a guitar store to find the right tone for you, not ordering it online. The concert guitar has a much fuller tone. It has a slighter wider body and a longer neck. I really enjoy it. However, the setup was terrible when it came. Someone completely loosened the truss rod, so the neck relief was way too much. The guitar was built overseas and inspected in California. I wonder if Fender pays them not so well so the inspectors simply rushed it out. If you are not sure how to adjust the truss rod, read Fender's manual or watch the online video from Gibson's head luthier. Once that was corrected, the guitar sounds great with some focus on the mids now which I love.Overall they are both great guitars. The polish and the feel are great. The frets on the parlor need some polish, but the concert feels smooth. So plan to do some setup - you will find the tone you love too.
