This would be a 5* however I feel that there are 2 main flaws with it.The pros:- little man loved it as soon as he saw it- super soft and well made- the light projector is great and good choice of songs / sounds- it works, our boy struggles to self sooth, with this on he was asleep within 2 minutesCons- loudness, this has 4 volume settings are far to loud! I cant see any situation where the volume would need to be at such a high level and the sound quality isn't good enough for the volume it projects, I'm going to try and put some foam around the speaker to try and muffle it.- the 5 seconds continuous cry is to long, our boy cries intermittently when he awakens and this leads to full on crying which by this point it's to late as takes longer to settle. Would be better if it was 2-3 seconds.- doesn't remember settings, say if you have a favourite song you have on repeat, you have to set this up each time you turn on else will play on a loop of all songs. (Not a biggy).Overall it's a lovely soother and for me if the manufacturer were to resolve the volume and cry function time this would be a 5* product.I would still reccomend as think with some tweaking the volume could be rectified. Our son loves the toy and if it actually helps encourage self soothing it would easily be one of our best purchases as sleep is worth more than gold!

This arrived yesterday so I've only used it for 1 night.Pros...Nice selection of songs/sounds.Soft materialGood strap at the back for attaching to crib.Easy(ish) controlsLights are very nice and relaxingCons...The volume, even the lowest setting is too loud so I've had to cover to try and dampen it slightly but then I imagine the cry activation won't work! And u can't see the lights.Also it would be good if the music faded out at the end instead of just turning off. The sudden silence isn't nice. 😬Because of the volume I'm unsure if I'll continue to use...***update ***After 2 months of using it 30mins -2 hours max at night the space monkey has given up and packed it in.Have tried different batteries and she goes for about 20 secs then dies again.Overall I would not recommend for the price.

This is a supersoft, very cute teddy that has a velcro hoop to attach to crib that is also a night light star projector, sleepy music player with timer and cry monitor that activates sound and light functions when triggered to send baby back to sleep!The best bit about this for parents is that electronics are all in the white circle which can be removed so the teddy can be cleaned easily. Best bit for kids (mine anyway) is that the star projector cycles through colours and the baby cry feature works very well after 10 seconds of crying and is at an ideal volume.When using the normal music the volume on some songs are higher than I expected so needs to be kept further away from the crib depending on what song they like. The first one which is similar to a heart beat is really good for sending my daughter off to sleep, next 3 are lullabies, then is beach sounds, then classical music, then forest sounds, then 2 more lullabies. Whatever is chosen continues to play, the teddy doesn't cycle through songs which is a good things as some work better than others for us. Press power button twice to turn off. Great device, very happy!

I wanted to update my original review as the cry sensor had not been particularly effective for my 2 year old stirring in the night. The customer service has been very good from this company who sent me a second bear after my initial review. This second one seems to be slightly better, but I think probably the problem is with the way in which my toddler wakes up - the sensor goes off after hearing continuous crying for 5 seconds, whereas he will wake up and tends to whine a little off and on, and so the sensor takes longer to activate. I think for a baby who wakes up with a more continuous cry this will be much more effective. I think in my own case a sensor which activates at a certain noise level rather than time duration would be what's needed!The stars and various lullabies are of a nice sound and visual quality, and the bear itself looks and feels nice and cuddly. It also comes with batteries and the correct size of screwdriver to insert them, and would make a lovely gift!

Wow! This cute music sleep teddy is wonderful!It has at least 7 - 9 different sounds. The bright stars are fab for baby to look at before bedtime, that’s if baby isn’t settling, or you may try it out first thing, early morning around 6:30am while room is still dark.It has a replay mode for your favourite sound. My baby loves the sea waves sound. In fact my older two children have used it for bedtime and both have fallen asleep within 5-10 mins (they like the rain sound) I’m not saying it’s guaranteed that your baby will fall asleep to this as babies are unpredictable and all babies are unique but The majority of the time, it’s definitely worked for my baby and sometimes we just use it for entertainment/relaxation. For the price £14.99 this is a bargain in comparison to other music sleep toys! I also bought x3 more to give as gifts to my sister and two friends. 😊

This is so good... My son is 22 months old and will take upto 2 hours sometimes to get to sleep. When you put this in bed with him with the blue light on and the rock-a-bye baby music on he calms down instantly. Once he's starting to shut his eyes a little we like to put the white noise sound on and he'll drop off and stay down quite easily. This is a game changer. Seriously.One thing I would say is that the starry light mode seems to stimulate him and its also very bright so don't look straight into it. We don't turn that on if he's going to sleep.
