It truly gives you the volume you need

Been using Raise The Roots for years now and will continue. I am 69 with thin, fine hair that I keep pixie short/medium length. After blow drying I rub just a little bit in my hands to get the fibers working and rub on my scalp, close to the roots, where I need volume. Continue to style. Works great every time. Just don’t overdo. You can always add a little more if needed.

We tried this on a person with short, fine, white hair who has started to wear thicker wigs in their natural hair color to feel more attractive and put together. The person followed the directions, and the product temporarily adheres to the hair shafts (much like some mascara thickening products) to give the hair more thickness and volume, particularly near the roots. It did work, but the person did note that it was really sticky when they first put it on and they would still need to use styling products such as hairspray when using it. However they were very impressed and noted that people who know they wears wigs didn't notice that it was their natural hair. They will be using it again, particularly when the weather gets hot enough to make wearing a wig uncomfortable. I recommend trying this product.

After reading mixed reviews on Amazon and Facebook, i thought I'd give it a try since I too have issues with root fullness. Well, my first clue should have been that it's a heavy cream so how is that going to help fine hair? I have a lot of hair but it's fine and doesn't like to cooperate. I followed the directions, put the product on my fingertips and worked it into my roots then blasted it with the dryer. Nothing! Absoultely nothing! In fact my hair looked less full at the roots, not to mention greasy with weird white flakes on my scalp. And mind you I used a voumizing shampoo and no conditioner. I will stick with my Redken Sky High gel to mousse.

Works great and leaves hair looking fuller and healthy.

My good friend recommended this product. Maybe I'm a hopeless case of less hair and thinning hair. I don't find it gives me any volume to speak of.
