Interesting!
My girls and their friends have loved this graphic. Some of the strips are dark but the character (and the word balloons) is colored in a way that pops and allows the story line to flow without it being a problem. The pages are regular paper and not glossy so that might have something to do with it? To sum it up the girls are not bothered by this - they have instead brought up that several strips are extras or are parts that do not appear in the movie at all. It's interesting - were these the scenes that didn't make the final cut?

old daughter fell in love with this book in a book store
My 7 yr. old daughter fell in love with this book in a book store. I later bought it in Amazon & surprised her with it. She was thrilled with it and keeps her busy as she reads the print and pictures for each scene. It's a good choice. This will be a travel book for long car rides, she will read it over and over again as there are pictures. When she read the words to a Song she was singing it too! Happy Mom.

The movie in book form
As improbable as it sounds, this book is a frame-by-frame version of the movie. Everything is in there. So instead of watching the movie over and over again, my kid can read this book, re-live her favorite parts, and even fill in some gaps from stuff we missed in the movie theater. It looks just like a comic book, with drawings and speech bubbles, and is tons of fun.

This is a great book for the price
This is a great book for the price! I read the reviews regarding the print quality and criticizing how many of the panels were dark, and I can see where they came from. But, out of the entire book, there are (2) panels that are nearly dark. That's it! And, having watched the movie recently, I can say that the parts in the movie that these were taken from were very dark. Cinematic darkness can be pulled off successfully, but it is a harder thing to do graphically in a comic book. The paper is reminiscent of the newsprint from comic books in the '80's. It adds a slight texture to each image that provides a heightened glow to characters.

Decent value
The Frozen Cinestory book follows the movie, like a graphic novel. Some of the Frozen books are for younger kids, while this book is geared towards 7+ yrs old. The pages are not glossy, but the artwork is nice.I bought it for my niece and like many young girls, she is a huge fan of Frozen. She immediately started to read the book and enjoyed it greatly. I would have preferred more vibrant colors and glossy pages. For about $13-15, it's just an OK value. If you see it for a several bucks less, then it would definitely be worth buying.

Highly recommend
Repeat customer for this product and we are still completely satisfied. This is our second copy because our child loved the first one so much it finally wore out. With the amount of use the first copy received we were pleasantly surprised with how well it held up. We would highly recommend!

Love the book
Love the book. It's like watching the movie but slower. Although the paper is not the best. It's made out of newspaper type. But worth it.

could have been SO much better
the idea is great- a graphic novel that follows the movie, but.... the pictures are horrible! seriously, they're really bad. they look nothing like the colorful front cover. the majority of the pictures are dark, nearly colorless, and the details are fuzzy. it looks like someone took pictures of the movie still frames on their tv and then printed them up.

colours too dull
the colours are too dull, this is particularly noticeable in the nightime scenes, this may be because of the paper quality. I guess you can't ask for much more at this price
