BobjGear Bobj Rugged Tablet Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 10.5 (SM-T830) Kid Friendly (Bold Black)

I have one of these for my Tab S3, which influenced my purchase of this one - very solid, protective case for your S4 tablet. The silicone is thick enough that it provides cushioning from even substantial falls, and the raised bezel on the front and around the camera should provide protection even from a flat fall front or back. Well ventilated to prevent overheating, and cutouts allow full dynamic speaker range. Ports are exposed for easy access, but the case covers the volume and on/off buttons, and the SD card door, adding an extra layer of protection for them. The pen holder is part of the molded back of the case, and provides convenient storage for the S pen, and if you're not a pen user it's out of the way and unobtrusive. It comes in black, blue, green, red (actually hot pink), turquoise and orange, so enough colors to match most tastes. The silicone case is completely waterproof, but it doesn't of course make your tablet waterproof, nor is it suitable for submersion.The (minor) downsides - the silicone is very easy to clean with a damp cloth, but it also attracts dust, lint and animal dander easier than a hard plastic case. Just the nature of the beast. It also isn't designed to cover the screen, so I definitely recommend a tempered glass screen protector to protect from scratches and dings - there are armored cases with built-in screen protectors and covers, but my experience has been that these built-in screen protectors are inferior to those you purchase and add yourself. That said, the screen is exposed and will get more fingerprints carrying and take more abuse in your backpack or briefcase versus a folio-type case. And this particular case has an odd, semi-circular cutout, with a peculiar notch in it over the front camera that appears to be completely unnecessary, but doesn't detract from function and in fact may have some purpose that is not immediately apparent. None of these enough to downgrade the rating, but just observed quirks of this design.In summary, a solid, well designed, durable case that provides good semi-armored drop and shock protection for your pricey Samsung tablet, and one of the best open-face styled cases I've used. Recommended.

This tablet cover fits my Samsung S4 perfectly. There is no sagging in back as mentioned in reviews of other similar cases. It provides nice handholds for what can otherwise be a slippery tablet and the bumpers protect the tablet. I like the pen holder and find I can prop up the tablet by hooking the holder over something. I didn't want a cover with a magnet closure that might interfere with the working of the pen. I read lots of reviews, and am delighted I got this.

This tablet holder is well thought out. It unobtrusively holds your pen. Sound is great. It's easy to prop up without slippage. The edges are heavily padded, making it easy to hold and protected if it's dropped. I will buy any future tablet holders from Bob-j. Their quality is superior.

Needing a cover for an older tablet. I wasn't sure what I would be able to find. Fortunately, I found BobjGear. This cover is simple and functional, even providing a place for the tablet pen.I highly recommend this product.

Only thing is the pen holder is to tight. Pulls the pen apart when she takes it out

Didn’t work for me don’t care for the silicone

This is the second Bobj rugged case I have purchased. The first was for a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, the most recent for a Tab S4. While it does not cover the screen, it is a great case. The thick rim makes it easy to hold and gives you a good grip on the tablet without interfering with any of the features. I dropped my old tablet from counter height and higher onto bare wood floors, tile floors of all kinds, carpet over concrete floors,and everything else including a couple of times outside onto concrete. My old tablet fell on its corners, edges, screen side and back side without any damage. I was truly nervous using my new tablet until I got the new case. Thanks Bob j Gear!!!

I'm impressed with it.Tight fit around my Tab S4, as it should be.I just imagine it will do what I want it for when out storm chasing and the Tab will stay where it's suppose to.Easier to hold the Tab now instead of it slipping out my hand when picking it up.I like the way push points are for the power and volume. They are recessed so no accidentally grabbing the Tab and winding up pushing a button, also helps in not having to touch screen .Just grab it and go.

Queda súper justo, pero cumple si función de proteger de los golpes, al comprarla no considere que no tiene forma de mantener la tableta (no tiene soporte) para poder ponerla en la mesa o escritorio y no se adapta a las bases para tabletas o celulares genéricos, se cae...

Funzionale, un po ingombrante ma indubbiamente efficace e comodo
