I have tried relentlessly to house break our two and a half year old chihuahua to no avail. We've had him since a puppy and even after getting him neutered he still feels the need to mark on everything! (Our two other dogs never do this so this was hard to deal with!)So having had enough cleaning up pee I gave up on trying to make him stop and purchased several types of male dog diapers on Amazon. Of the three types I've purchased I like these the best. They fit very nicely and have a good quality velco closure that has outlasted my second favorite brand. They are easy enough to toss in the washer when peed in.One thing I've noticed after using these (any brand) is that sometimes just tossing in the wash with regular detergent doesn't always get the pee smell entirely out. If that's the case I use a little enzyme cleaner (I use Nature's Miracle) to get rid of the odor. Overall these have really been a big frustration saver for us.For this brand, I purchased a size small for our 6-7lb chihuahua which fit just right.

If your dog is a marker this will be the answer to your prayers. First of all, this is very easy to apply. This is large enough to make sure it covers him completely.. Apparently, this is so comfortable that my dog forgets he is wearing it. I as using the disposable one cutting it to fit and place inside of this so I would not have to wash this as frequently. However, disposable wraps can be pricey so it was a short term fix. Plus, when I tried the disposable wrap my dog had a fit and wanted nothing to do with it. But something amazing has happened. Yesterday, I thought I would place a female maxi pad inside of this instead and guess what? He no longer urinates in it. They say dogs don't like to be wet or to wet on themselves. We have been using this for about a wk. And some research said after a week it helps them to stop marking. This is the first time I checked the wrap after 12 hours and the maxi pad inside was completely dry. This wrap is water proof but if you do not want to wash it freq insert a maxi pad inside and just replace that instead of having to wash this freq. This wrap enable my dog to roam freely in the house because I know he can no longer pee on anything that he pleases. Plus this dog loves to sleep in my bed and this allows him to. He has slept with me the last two nights and he is dry in the morning. I am hoping the new trend continues and we will no longer be needing this wrap. I also love that this comes with 3 so well one is being washed you still have two spares. I would always use a maxi pad in it. It is so easy to insert and just remove when soiled. I am so happy I found this product so my new rescue dog can have full access to my house. I just remove it when he goes outside or in his crate or for walks. Ps I bought the cheapest maxi pads that Walmart offers. It was the equate brand. 30 pads for 3.26.

These diapers are fabulous! My 14 1/2 year old Basset Hound Sometimes doesn't know he's peeing and was leaving winding rivers all over the house. These diapers contain it all. They're simple to use, he wears them willingly and cries when they're wet! :-) Our quality of life has improved significantly. We're all happy!

First off, and most importantly, these size quite small. I measured my 10 pound little chiwawa boy around the rear part, where they tell you to measure, and where this wrap will be placed. He came in just between 10 and 11 inches. So I figured, 13 inches would just be the right size of wrap. Not so.... it was way to small. Of the square velcro, I can only grab half an inch to close it so snugly that he keeps rolling around on the floor, trying to get it off. I cannot put a little finger in there, it is so tight.So I recommend to take the size above, if you are within three inches of the range of any given size.I am returning this and getting the size above. Other than that, the quality itself seems to be alright: they are well sewn and look sturdy.If the higher size turns out to work well on him, I shall upgrade my stars to better than 3.Please, let me know if this review was helpful to you! I bought both the small and the XS for my six lb Yorkie puppy. The small fits best after he eats and before he poops. The XS fits best after a big poop. I line them with extra absorbent panty liners from the dollar store. They tend to leak without a panty liner.WASHING: I have washed them several times in the wash machine and by hand. I have dried them in the clothes dryer and also left outside to dry. Both ways work fine. They show no wear and we have been using them daily for a month. Edit: I learned today to put them in a lingerie bag when washing them with other items, as the Velcro can snag other items in the wash.I try not to leave them on him for more than necessary, as he did once get a diaper rash, which was cured over night with a bath and coconut oil. I don’t leave them on him overnight or while in his playpen, as he never seems to go then.POTTY TRAINING NOTE: While these protect my home and furniture, I really feel it is slowing down the potty training, as I’m not able to know when he is “going.”MALE VS. FEMALE: I first tried to use the female diapers on my male puppy, because I already had them, however, his little winkie was peeking out the top. That’s why you need the male belly wraps.LAST NOTE: These catch pee only, not poop. These saved my life (and my furniture and my floors)! I adopted a 3 year old very small (6 lbs), alpha male, Chihuahua/Min Pin cross with a chronic marking issue. There was nothing I could do to convince him that marking inside the house was NOT OK. When I found out about this product (from my Vet ..... thank you Christie), I immediately placed an order. It took my dog a couple of days to get used to wearing it. First day he stood upright all day long and just stared at me. Second day he barked at me all day long, while he stood upright. Third day, he finally relaxed. He now "assumes the position" every time we come in from outdoors and I "wrap" him up. He still marks .... but it stays inside the wrap! Love it, Love it, Love it!

Have only used this for one night but I'm very happy! We adopted a 5 year old French bulldog who had been kept in Kennels his whole life so he was used to peeing wherever he liked. When we got him home he was ok in the day when we were watching but at night he would pee on his bed or on the doormat. We are about to move to a house we have brought with cream carpets so I started looking for a solution. We ordered him the large size, they are probably slightly too big but he is underweight at the moment. I also brought some charcoal baby nappy inserts to put inside in case he did wee to soak it up. He hasn't tried to get it off, a puppy might though. A great buy for us!
