Initial Thoughts... I like it.
Initial Thoughts... I like it. but there are some things that are strange.1) Why would you void the warranty by opening the case to put memory in? you put the memory slot there for us to use, no? so how are we suppose to use it and keep our warranty.... I don't know what is a worse explanation; Bad design or Intentional design for the purpose of selling warranty free watches. Come on Omate, you can do better than that.2) The watch's user interface is intuitive but still, where is the user's manual for what is obviously a very complicated piece of electronics, I checked the website too, there simply is none to have, once again Omate, you can do better than that.Apart from that, I am loving the watch so far, hope nothing goes wrong as I already put extra memory in for music, so my Warranty is gone out the window for what is really an expensive gadget that still can go wrong.UPDATE: I have owned this watch for awhile now. Here is what I discovered...1) The USB port on my watch is only for charging, the USB does not work for data transfer. I tried it all, even went to the boards. no luck2) The SD card is not mounting, I tried 3, a 128GB card I bought for this watch, a 64GB that I had in my surface, and a 8GB that I had lying about, none of them worked.I have reduced the stars to 2 because of this. If I cant get data on and off the phone then this is a "not so smart" watch,.the concept is good but one by one the functions I need it for are a non start.

A true standalone cell phone on your wrist.
Powerful little watch. I recently had my S5 turn in to a brick from the lollipop 5.0 upgrade and have been using the watch full time. The only downside is that google play services isnt loadable, even when side loaded. This means that apps like snapchat, who rely on that service, cannot be used either. Most of my apps were readily available at aptoide however. The charge time depends on how heavily you use it. I wear mine for a good 5 or 6 hours before it needs charging again, but the charging time is only about 15 minutes till its at maximum.Call quality is surprisingly wonderful! Just need a good headset for when i'm on hikes or walking around for a while. The swiftkey keyboard does make it easier to type due to the fact that it allows you to swipe to text, but it can be finicky sometimes. I dont use the omate keyboard, i use the standard android keyboard.wifi is strong, bluetooth works wonderfully, even the camera is pretty great for a tiny little device.I cant wait to see further upgrades of this device, and hopefully google will get on with allowing app rights soon enough. For now, as a complete cell phone, i have been very happy with it.

I have had thiswatch a few days and I can tell you right ...
I have had this watch a few days and I can tell you right now so far this has to be my fav gadget ever...I mean a friend of mine bought an apple watch and literally people skipped his watch to look at my truesmart and the many features it has. I know there are bad reviews degrading this company due to kick start but really in my experience I am extremely happy with this product for what it does. I don't think you will find anything as rugged as this for a price you can afford and the built quality. wifi is amazing, touch screen is pretty fast, camera is decent I mean what do you want man its a small watch you are lucky to even have a camera in it...lolI will eventually buy another soon...now i wouldn't buy another one if this wasn't worth it now would I ?

Buy this Smart Watch!
I've had this watch for a few days now and I'm very happy with it.ProsSolid Construction; Metal Body, Saphire coated glass, and a very comfortable band.Uses Android JellyBean Operating System with tons of compatible Apps that work well for this Smart WatchGestures and tiny keyboard are very easy to use, I was very surprised how well the keyboard work despite it being so smallMany ringtones, wallpapers, and settings that can be customized.ConsThe Ostore (Omate App store) doesn't work, so you have to side load Google Play, once thats on the watch its easy sailing after that.Omate does not provide any sort of guide (paper or online) to help with set up, the user will have to figure a lot out on their own.Overall, this watch is worth buying if you're looking for a Smart Watch, whether its a Stand Alone or Companion device. Its very obvious that a lot of time and skilled engineering was put into this device and for around $200 you can't beat the quality.

Used repackaged junk
Bought this because I needed something that would allow me to listen to music while out on a jog and not have to bring my gigantic Note 4 bouncing around in my pocket with me.When I recived the item it was clearly used, pretty crumpled box only hled closed with a strip pf tape. I opened it up to find all the expected items usb cord, charging cradle, the watch and a little package of spare screws all sitting on top of a folded paper towel.I Hook the watch up to the charging cradle and leave it there for about 2 hours. Comeback to turn it on. . . Nothing, absolutely no buttons work. I switch the charging cradle to a usb cable that I know works and leave it to charge overnight.Next morning I find the exact same thing, no buttons would turn the device on. I grabed my mini screwdriver and disassembled the rear watch door only to find the entire inside of the watch corroded and covered with rust.Im guessing the last person who owned this watch used it in the shower until it completely rusted out then sold it on amazon as used letting anyone else buy a completely defective item.In the end all I can suggest is anyone who reads this DO NOT buy the used version of this watch available on amazon. I left a note in the package when I returned it explaining everything in hopes no one else buys this and runs out of time to return it.
