Perfect Replacement!
Couldn't ask for an easier fix. This was a perfect replacement for the spark plug that stopped working for our Jenn-air.Back story:I would turn on the burner and it would take 7-8 snaps before it would light. It was becoming more 10-12 sparks and I'd turn it off because of an unsuccessful light. I didnt want to allow too much gas to flow into the kitchen without being quickly lit. I don't know how I can watch the old spark pop pop pop and not light the gas?! But that is what kept happening and it was becoming a problem for others using the kitchen. I noticed that this particular prong sat lower and the spark was lower on the burner. Apparently too far below to consistently make a flame. I tried to adjust the height but noticed the ceramic had a fracture in it and it broke apart. I tried using electricians tape to hold it together but it wouldn't spark at all anymore.Now with this new part the burner lights quicker than it ever has in only 1-3 snaps! A big improvement and a repair I wish I did years ago.Bottom of the unit says Maytag but top says Jenn-air. Model JGD8430ADB

My Jennair burner is working, again!
Last week, decided to was videos to get trouble shooting ideas.After very close inspection, I discovered a crack in the ceramic part.Sealed it out with a new one and I now have a working rear burner.I received the exact item in the photo.I am happy with my purchase.🌟RM🌻

Cheaply made, worked for 1 week
Does it work… Sure. Did it last…Nope. After a week I was get the same constant spark sound I had before. Product not worth it.

A little pricy but works great. Exact replacement for 15 year old failed unit.
Once the burner was taken out, installing the igniter was simple. The problem was all the screws were corroded and sheared off when trying to unscrew, including the (2) burner screws and the igniter screw. They had to be drilled out, VERY CAREFULLY, and holes re-tapped. Be prepared to go through several drill bits or carbide bits.
