The GunBox RFID Handgun Safe, Silver

Works as advertised. Who says you have to sacrifice security for speed. I got this safe to keep my kids and wife (only because she hasn't yet been instructed to safely handle and operate a pistol) from accessing my pistol. With the wrist band FOB, I can go from sleeping to armed in 5 seconds. I always wear the wristband so there is no risk of an unauthorized person accessing my weapon. I like the charging port in the back for my wireless charging base. I can't wait until their shotgun safe becomes available.

I bought this thinking it was a decent product but boy was I wrong. The details here make it clear just how weak the design is. It looks like they put lots of effort into the metal work, but the actual locking mechanism just is NOT appropriate for anything other than very brief storage in a hotel or something. Never around teenagers or for theft deterrent.

Had for 6 months. Opens every time. Very satisfied.

Thought this was a cool idea until the one time I wanted to get my gun out and the thing was jammed up. Luckily I wasn't in a situation I really needed the gun! Crap.

Finger scan is hit or miss. Otherwise the safe portion of it is excellent with kids in the house.

The safe arrived today. The quick start instructions are very easy. Too bad the safe does not open. I tried 10 or more times and each time the latch clicked and the lid only moved slightly but would not open. It's on the way back now for a refund.

Performs as advertised......

Didn't open more than a half inch. After plugging it in and turning it on, we used the RFID and and lid opened maybe half inch. Waste of time and money.
