Was definitely worth the price. I have used it more than I originally expected. Has been easy to get mirror finishes on 6061 T6 aluminum.

I bought this to use on my grizzly G0759, and I'm very impressed with the results. I tested it on two chrome vanadium sockets. The video I recorded is a little noisy, please turn your volume down a bit before you watch it, that was a .0625 depth of cut. I ended up facing .375 off both sockets and the cutters had very little wear on them (that picture isn't very focused). This cutter is also the perfect size for my bench mill.

Fits right into my Tormach Tool Holding System due to its flat flange. Produced an excellent finish. Runs much faster than the fly cutter.

Having never used a flycutter or an end mill larger than 1/2", this face mill by Accusize gives me a totally new capability - efficiently facing off large areas without having to grind a flycutter bit. The first test cut made with the tool produced a mirror-like finish, which exceeded my expectations. The only downside to the purchase were the inserts shipped with the tool. The inserts are not a standard TPG insert. They have a flat next to the radiused point and the entire cutting edge has a chamfer on the cutting face! Both of those seem likely to cause major problems with the inserts rubbing instead of cutting, soo I didn't even try to use them. Fortunately, other reviews questioned the quality of the supplied inserts and I purchased this pack of 10 inserts along with the face mill, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EUG0H4O/ . I was pleased to note that the cutting point of these inserts installed in the face mill were equidistant from the back surface within 0.0002" .

I'm only a hobby machinist but here's my review: The tool comes in a good quality plastic pull-apart case and includes the required hex key. Inserts were properly installed and screws were tight. I fitted it into my old Enco milling and drilling machine - not the most rigid setup - and made several cuts on hardened steel. The job was to modify the T-nut from a quick change toolpost to fit my lathe. The cuts were all surprisingly good and the surface finish was more than acceptable. The tool advanced easily through the work. I did use a spray can of coolant / lubricant because the chips were smoking hot. Afterward the inserts still looked new. I'm glad I didn't try these cuts with an HSS end mill, I don't think that would have gone nearly as well. I'd buy this again, and I've had good luck with other Accusize tools.

I've only used this on 6061-T6511 aluminum bar, but at 1200 RPM it works great! I'm sure it would cut faster but I don't have an enclosure on my mill. I cut off about 0.7" on the shaft length to fit it into a 3/4" TTS R8 collet. Works great and the Z height is repeatable.

This end mill is great and I can face metal leaving very smooth finishes! I highly recommend it!

Tool is a quality tool for the price and works for my usage. Being a novice with limited machining needs and a budget the tool was my solution for opening up a 1 1/4 inch hole to a 1 1/2 inch ( I know not a drill bit) but the drill bit of the same size is nearly the same price, and I seldom use my 11/4 inch drill bit So. Yeh,,part time cautious hack but it did the job, it's clearances do not compute but it worked for me and it also works very well for surface cutting and finishing, go figure.

Leaves quite a nice surface. Quality product, definitely will be a daily driver for me.

I bought this to cut down the corner of a 3x4 inch by 4 ft block of steel at an 60 degree angle. that is a lot of material to remove. the total height of the material from peak was 1.2 inch. This cut all the material away and still stayed sharp. I tried different speeds 300 rpm up to around 700 rpm and 100 tho up to 3/8 of inch. Using a bridge port with 1 hp the higher the speed I would cut 100 thosand of an inch and did it at 20 tho per sec. there were lots of sparks and hot metal. for the finish cut was 15 tho and the surface came out mirror shine. Very impressed with this cutter. comes with cutters installed.

Used it to mill down a wrench. Handled the hardened tool steel Well, no damage. Wish the company made tooling for Morse taper #3, better then nothing
