Best Matcha I have found!
This Matcha is perfect, it tastes so fresh and mixed with some almond milk for a matcha latte is perfect for starting the day or with hot water to finish off a night. I have tried several other Matcha's and this taste so much better than all the others I have tried. The price of this Matcha is good too. I think this comes packaged from the UK, and this company does a great job of sourcing high quality Matcha. I would absolutely recommend this PureChimp Matcha Green Tea Powder to anyone who loves great tasting Matcha, you can't go wrong wit this one!

I've replaced coffee with matcha due to this brand
Coffee was upsetting my stomach but I still needed caffeine in the morning. After some research, I found that matcha contains l-theanine, which can help with stress and focusing. It can also help with inflammation. I have ADHD, bi-polar, an autoimmune disease, and am all around typically pretty tightly wound and stressed. I've found that I am able to focus better after having a matcha. I've also found that I don't feel jittery and anxious after having a cup, like I would with coffee. I've also had less energy spikes and crashes. If you've ever had a matcha at Starbucks, this is not the same. This has a cleaner, not as sweet taste. There is no bitterness to it, because I believe it is ceremonial grade (after researching.) It blends well and the small container lasts a long time. I've had at least 5 matchas a week for the past 6 weeks and my container isn't empty yet. This is due to you having to use very little to make a cup.The recipe I follow to make my matcha is the following:1/2 tsp PureChimp Matcha1/2 tsp water1 1/2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk1 1/2 TBSP Lankanto Monk Fruit SweetnerI start by following the directions of how to make the matcha paste on the back of the container.I heat my almond milk in the microwave for 2 minutes. I slowly add some almond milk to my matcha paste and mix with my milk frother, making sure I get all of the matcha off the sides of the cup. I then add the rest of my almond milk and add my lankanto monk fruit sweetener. Then I froth. It tastes amazing. I really think this is the perfect matcha powder.

Great quality Matcha!
I just started getting into making my own match drinks. This matcha has a vibrant green color. And I was reading the more vibrant it is, the better quality! After purchasing this I quickly ran out haha and I got the value size from Costco and I have to say I could IMMEDIATELY tell the difference and how poor quality the Costco matcha was compared to this brand. The matcha from pure chimp taste great and you can definitely tell it’s a higher grade quality than if you were to buy some in a regular grocery store. Will buy again!

Impressed
I was actually kinda shocked. I wasn't expecting it to taste as good as it did. I usually drink Akira matcha which is more expensive n one month when funds were somewhat low I decided to take a chance n try pure himp. I'm not saying it will be my new brand of matcha but it's really pretty good n extremely reasonable in price. I was surprised that it was ceremonial, but I'm sure it is a low grade ceremonial tea. Akira will still be my number 1 but I will buy Purechimp, it has a earthy taste, nice aroma, no clumps. Only thing I don't like is the glass jar, where as Akira is in a foil-like resealable package where no light can get thru. But as far as taste it's fine. Idk how long it will stay fresh because of the glass jar, I recently bought it n opened it the other day. But I will update if it goes stale quickly.

This is well made Matcha green tea powder and I like the taste with the Turmeric. But, out of stock?
I looked over many Matcha green tea offerings on Amazon and eventually settled on this one. I like the idea of providing some turmeric with the Matcha. It tastes pretty good too. I'm hopeful it has the health benefits that are touted by many different sources.Sadly, when I got mine, the expiration date had already passed by 3 months! I'm not really sure how to tell if it's "off" or not, as the turmeric can disguise aromas. Matcha will go stale after some time. Pure Chimp offered for me to take a refund, or send it back and wait for new stock. I chose to just go with the refund. And I'm glad I did. I'm doubtful about Pure Chimp's future, as 6 months later they're still not showing new stock. That's pretty sad, because I think they have a good product!

Favorite way to start my day!
I first ordered the 2-pack regular in early June 2024 and knew immediately I was going to re-order before I ran out. Then came Prime Day, and I was able to get more at an incredibly low price. This matcha was highly recommended by a blog I had read, and she did not steer me wrong. I used to be a coffee girl, until I wasn't and it just didn't taste good anymore. Enter the matcha latte, with this incredibly delicious ceremonial grade matcha. #noturningback

Quality Match for a great price
I have tried at least 7 different Matcha manufacturers. The one I am currently drinking has been the best so far (well duh!). However, I really like this one too. First of all, your getting 50 grams of ceremonial matcha at a fantastic price, in a glass jar, Outstanding!Comparing the taste of the one I have been drinking to Pure Chimp, I would say the Pure Chimp has a lighter taste yet still has that grassy flavor without any bitterness. When prepared according to the instructions on the jar (1/2 level teaspoon) , the claim is that it tastes like a blend of black tea and green tea, which it does. But that’s not good for me since I don’t like brown or black tea. When I go my measure, (1/2 rounded teaspoon) it seem the black tea taste is gone, weird. Conclusion: 50 grams of ceremonial matcha at this price, it’s a no brainer. For my other matcha I’m paying $36 for 60 grams, so this is a great deal! If this is your first try at drinking matcha, this is a great choice!
