Very silky, doesn't sting or dry out your skin. Have a deep scar, so haven't seen any progress yet, but this is perfectly safe to use and can use longterm. Perfect for massaging the scar.

I have very long, hypertrophic scars from a transplant surgery. Medical research (posted on the Internet) states that silicone has an approximate 80% efficacy rate. The highest of all other scar removal strategies. The medical research also said that silicone gel is as effective as silicone strips. I've been using three different types of silicone gel, and I can't tell which one is best. Scarfade is, without question, the best value for the money.My scars were particularly bad. They were like thick, purple rope and painful when I moved. I've been using silicone gel for 5 months. It has worked extremely well. They are flatter, thinner, and, in some areas, almost the same color as my skin. I am so thankful these products are available.

Phenomenal! I had split open my forehead from the top to my nose when tripping and hitting the corner of a mirror. I used Scarface ointment everyday and the silicone sheets every night for five months straight, and the healing process is better than I could have ever expected. I believe it is the best over the counter product besides getting plastic surgery.

I have pretry extensive scarring on both hands from surgery. Did a good job on newer scars. The older ones taking some time. Still using. I think getting better. Good product. Thanks

After over a month of usage, the scar on my arm has lightened a lot. I put the gel on twice a day (once in the morning and once before bed). No issues staining my clothing like it says. The scar is from a hot oil burn at work and it's over a year old and the gel is working! I'll keep using it in hopes of lightening it even more.

I've been using this faithfully twice a day for the last 4 months, hoping it would help eliminate or reduce the appearence of a scar I have from surgery on an umblicial hernia done almost a year ago. Unfortunately it seems to have done nothing. I have one more 15g tube to use up over the next few months, and will update or change my review if things change.

don't bother, has no effect whatsoever

I just started using this a few days ago, but already I notice it's Much easier to use than another product I had been using. Scarfade is thinner and much easier to use, where the other product was more gelatinous and almost gummy, which is a mess to use. I'll update this review after I've used it for a while. Btw, I have 2 scars I'm working on - on my knee, for knee replacement surgery, and on my nose, for Mohs surgery for skin cancer.

I got a sample of this for my post op scar care. I had a breast augmentation. At first I was using silicon strips, which were nice bc I felt like the implants might bust out if I sneezed haha... but it eeked me out that they seemed to peel the newest layer of skin off when I took them off. So I switched to this stuff. It’s nice to be able to rub it in and be done. It feels clean after applied. And you don’t have to peel it off later. Yay! And you use the itty bittiest amount, so cost is negated.

I've had a bump around the front of my cartilage piercing for a long time due to a very slow healing process. I used this product per the instructions (including a nice little massage at the scar location) and in less than a month saw results. Weirdly, the scar looked worse before it got better- it got larger and redder and kind of oozy, but one day when I was massing the scar product in the liquid came out, the scar shrunk, and it looks so much better.The scar will never go away completely, but it looks significantly flatter and is no longer round and shiny. I recommend this product for piercing problems!

I have been using this 2x/day for less than one month. My scar has gone from a red color to now medium pink. Keloid is still the same size, but I am very pleased so far with the fading results. Definitely recommend this product, and will continue to use!

Still to early to see if it works, takes time to work. The only thing I can say is myPlastic Surgeon swears by it he says he has had good results from other patients.

This is the best $24.00 I’ve spent in my entire life! I’ve a lot of adult acne scars, both old and new, and I noticed a very clear reduction of raised skin around the scar with one application (about 4 hours later). I’m so excited to see what the long term results look like 😍😍😍 for me!

Been using this on a dog bite on my toddler- not sure whether it’s time or the product (or both!) but the scar is fading a lot since using it.

A medicine cabinet must have! I have used this product on everything from surgical scars, to buns and have had amazing results. It is definitely worth the money. A little goes a long way. Be sure to use twice a day and you will not be disappointed.

Works very well. Had a tummy tuck and breast lift in December. After 2 months of use, both scars have smoothed out and lightened up significantly. My surgeon is very happy with my progress.
