This kettle is great! Perfect for brewing a full 5.5 gallon batch of beer. The stainless steel is super thick - nothing flimsy about this product. Yes, you can see the seam as someone else posted. So what! It’s easy to clean. No drain valve boss to clean around. No place for food to hide and grow nasty stuff. 5 gallons of finished wort is easy enough to lift and pour into a fermenter bucket. Item arrived well packaged and protected, unlike the Gas One product I had returned because of damage.

A real disappointment
The pot was not circular. it had an oval shape and the lid would not fit.It was a great size and heavy duty. I returned it for exchange, but it was discontinued.

Good pot for the money
Bought this so I can brew a full 5 gallon batch of beer without boil over, works great! It has a gradient on the inside that shows level of fluid which I really like. Would buy again , absolutely?

Awesome
Awesome brew kettle, great quality. Holds heat very well for mashing BIAB style. The only thing i would have done differently is to purchase it with a ball valve versus without a hole for a ball valve.
