ThreadartPolyester Machine Embroidery Thread by The Spool - 1000M - 40wt - Hundreds of Color Options - White - No. 101

I got several different colors of these. They are very strong. Thinner than I thought they would be, but that's my own fault; I always forget, the bigger the number, the smaller the thread lol. This thread can get tangled easily, but that's normal for thread. As long as you don't pull too much off the spool at once, you're good.

This is the thread i use 95% of the time with my NQ1600 Brother embroidery machine. Works perfect! I have ordered it in many many colors separately and have order the sets.

It’s difficult to gauge the exact color when you can’t see it live but aside from that, the quality of the thread is great. I have bought this brand of thread in several different shades & I love the luster. I’ve used the thread in several of my clothing designs & it gives a more expensive looking appearance & really pops especially when I’m using contrasting colors. I will definitely be purchasing additional colors for future projects!

i was in a hurry and ordered this between running errands. it is entirely my fault i didnt stop nad read all the details but i saw the price and just assumed for 9 dollars i was getting a large cone. this is SMALL. like those trial size cones that come in a pack small. it will hold me over for now but please read and do no pay this much for this tiny size. not worth the money at all

The reason I bought this on Amazon and not threadart was because I wanted to test the strength before buying a bundle and wasting money. It was just as strong as the $5.99 40wt embroidery thread from the quilt shop. The only down side is there is no hook or snap base to stop the thread from unrolling from spool. You’ll need to purchase the thread bands for each spool and they are $13.99 for 40 of them. Still a deal

Great thread. I have a standard sewing/embroidery machine without a spindle to accomodate this size thread spool. However, I have an add-on freestanding thread spool with a thread loop that extends 2-3" above the threading area of my machine. This thread, using the freestanding thread holder works great. It is economical and a great product for my machine embroidery projects.

I had 2 major issues with this thread. First - the thread is not one long continuous strand. In doing just one project, I found two areas where the thread was literally tied together with a knot on the spool. I tried winding a bobbin with it and saw the first knot because the thread unwinding off the spool kept hitting the knot that was poking out of the spool causing the bobbin winding to go flukey. The second knot broke my needle during stitching as the knot was too big to go through the needle. The second issue was that the spool base is not smooth but has rough spots. As the thread was unwinding during the sewing, it kept getting caught on the spool base causing the thread to constantly hang up or break. It was a real struggle to get through a project which I had to complete and this was the only red thread I had on hand. I recommend purchasing literally any other brand than this one. It's a shame because the thread itself is nice weight, a great color and has a nice sheen and that is the only reason for the 2 stars. The way it is wound on the spool renders it useless for machine sewing.

Use for brother embroidery machine

I use this for machine embroidery. It works okay, but is very slippery. I prefer Brothread, but it is not available in single colors so Threadart is the next best thread I have found. Will continue to purchase.
