WOLVERINE: INFINITY WATCH

A Disappointing Epilogue to Infinity Wars (Review #377)
This series acts as an epilogue to Gerry Duggan's Infinity Saga which started in Guardians of the Galaxy (2017). Infinity Wars (2018) tied-up most of the story threads Duggan set up but there were still a few questions left to answered. There are things I liked about the volume and things I didn't. Duggan mostly toes the line when it comes to his humor but here he crosses over into childish for most of it. I also found his takes on Loki and Wolverine rather flat but they do have a fun chemistry when together. Then there's the fact that this series retcons Wolverine's reappearance in Marvel Legacy (2017) #1 and its connection to the Infinity Stones in a very disappointing way. I did like how the story expands on the Stones' new place in the universe and a new character introduced has a lot of potential. Andy MacDonald's art was nothing special in my opinion, but it does its job. I like his design work. I wanted to give this volume a higher review but honestly I was let down by a lot of the story. This is not the end though. A series of annuals under the banner Infinite Destinies are set to continue the story of the Infinity Stones, of which Duggan will return for one of them. The event was originally slated for a June release but with the COVID-19 pandemic that date will likely be pushed back, so keep an eye out.3/5

Three of my favorite characters! Why not?!
Wolverine, loki and king thor is in there too!.. if it was a better artist I would have gotten the individual issues, I'm glad I got this book tho. Fun read

Wolverine and Loki
Wolverine and Loki together this a weird matchup but it works pretty well. I was kinda confused the whole time through this, but that’s probably because I didn’t read any of the previous issues before this one so I was pretty lost. Other than that it was very entertaining.

Boring af...
Infinity Watch is the direct follow-up to the return of wolverine comic book. It takes Logan to pointless action scenes with Loki in space with random dudes called the raptors... I'm mad about this book being rated "parental advisory" and yet, a 8 years old could read it easily. The ONLY moment of real violence is when Wolverine enters in a deep rage against against... Robots... So, yeah, he cuts trough them pretty hard, but is it Old man logan kind of parental advisory? Never in a hundred years... I wanted some answers to why Logan had the space stone in legacy and I don't want to read Infinity Wars for an other pointless event... Not my favorite comic at all.

Not necessary, but that's ok!
The story is just ok, but it is nice to have the best there is among us again. Strong point is the Old Old Wolverine in conversations with Thor before the end of the world. But the magic dog is unbearable!
