Works like it's supposed to!
It's a fine substitute for a Canon battery pack for my camera. I haven't used enough to comment on battery life or longetivity. But it's working fine now.

Canon G5 replacement battery review [from Wasabi]
Purchased a couple of batteries/charger unit for my Pentax from these chaps and was well pleased with it. Recently purchased another Pentax camera that needed a different battery type so whilst at it asked them to send me a couple of these batteries for my 11 year old Canon G5 and Canon movie camera. The batteries were well charged straight out of the box, they have a bigger capacity than the originals [in the same frame size] and brought these cameras back to life for me for not a whole of money[compared to OEM items]. Time will tell how well they last but the company supplying them offered great support and quick turnaround. Well pleased with my 3 purchases from them to date.

the jury's still out
To be fair, I haven't had the chance to put this battery through the paces, but for casual shots it has held up well. I dont doubt that it will come through when I need it, Wasabi is known for that. I do have a few shoots coming up that I plan to use this battery on. So an update will follow.

Short battery life.
Battery is dead in a matter of hours. Charges quickly but doesn’t hold. Difficult to take anywhere you can’t charge it routinely. Will have to purchase a better quality battery for my camera.

good replacement for original
good battery, no problems so far, although wish the charge would last a bit longer. used on my canon 5d

Not as good quality as the last one I ordered
I purchased this battery a few years ago now. Loved it!!! However, just bought 2 of them and it seems that materials of the case of the battery are cheaply made now. I just decided to return them, as I can't take a chance on them not performing well. Blue Nook made it easy for a return.
