My dog had quite a rough and crusty nose for a while. I didn’t know what to do about it but after some research online I came across this product and after reading all the positive reviews I decided to give it a try. All I can say is that I wish I had bought it sooner! The results in the picture are after JUST a day and a half!! I was amazed at how quickly it worked. After about 3 applications the dry parts of her nose just sort of flaked off with little resistance and revealed a smooth and beautiful snout! I could tell that the balm really soothed her nose from the dryness and made her feel a lot better. Plus it smells quite good! Would buy again!

This is my second time buying this product. I got the travel size because I can't find my full size one but it's here somewhere! My American Bulldog has a dry nose which cracks and flakes. I saw improvement in one day! I also used this product on my late English Staffordshire who was so bad her nose cracked and bled. It took about a week of daily use for me to see improvement. So if your dog is just starting to get a dry nose, get this and take care of it fast! Use treats to get them to allow you to apply the product and gently tap a good amount gently on their nose. They will shy as their nose hurts when is dry, but again treats help. Now my dog looks forward to the product because as her nose heals it doesn't hurt as much and treats! My only issue with this has nothing to do with the product but Amazon's shipping...the box is HUGE! If you get the same packaging you can leave packaging feedback (I did!) and hopefully they will change their ways.

I use this product for my dog's noses when they get dry and cracked, and also found out it works wonders for dry cracked skin for humans as well! I recently got a blister on the side of my index finger from using the leaf blower without gloves, and when it started getting dry and cracking despite using moisturizing lotion I decided on a whim to apply a little bit of Snout Soother. Overnight the dry, painful blister area was much better, and just a few days later with application of Snout Soother twice a day it is almost healed. My husband is plagued with dry, cracking skin in the winter time and he has been applying Snout Soother twice a day and getting fantastic results. Finally, for the main use of this product, if your dog has a dry, scabby, cracking nose grab this and apply it two or three times a day. This little tin works magic in no time flat!

I bought the travel size for my Boston Terrier who had a really dry and cracked nose. When I received the product, I noticed it was a very small tin. The stuff did work after about a week of putting it on my dog's nose 2 to 3 times a day. But, it is quite expensive for what you get. It doesn't last long. I did buy the stick after that, but preferred the tin. It's easier to apply the balm with my thumb. My dog has a small nose. I would imagine it wouldn't last nearly as long with a larger dog. The product did work though. It just makes me want to make my own balm.

This stuff works really well and I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the tin that it comes in. The top doesn't fit at all. It's too large so it just falls right off. We packed this in an overnight bag and the top just came right off while it was in there. We realized that it doesn't snap on so it was rolling around in the bag, getting all over the place.

Lets start by saying the little tin can SUCKS...it's so hard to open, and once you close it, you'll have trouble open it again, so we ended up putting it in a little plastic jar she had, so there's that so bit the chap stick version of available ...Now for the actual product review, Our dogs nose was getting really really dry, to the point where little pieces of his nose were starting to peel, it looked really dry and painful.So we bought this, and it's like magic... we started by applying it 3xs a day... after like the 3rd day his nose started to look so much better it was incredible. After the week, his nose was back to normal... yes, that fast!! And that's including that our dog would lick a lot of it off, but we also would make sure to pad it nicely into his nose to make sure it got into the little cracks well... and then after he'd lick away, which we didn't mind because it's all natural, another plus!.Now for maintenance, we apply it once a week... we don't really seem to need to do it anymore, but my girlfriend says it's "preventative" so I won't even bother arguing with that! Lol.So yes ! We would definitely recommend this to anyone!, the little tin has so much in it, it will last us a while for Sure!!...if your dogs nose is drying up, or if it is already dried up, don't waste anymore time and BUY THIS!... it is uncomfortable for them, and it can get painful, you can fix it quickly with this product...

This product is excellent. My dog is blind and has Cushings Dz. His nose was so cracked. i tried liquid Vitamin D for 6 months with no change. MY veterinarian told me nothing really works. She was wrong. Even after 5 days of using Snout Soother there was a huge improvement. Within 10 days his nose was Normal. I just apply it once daily. He doesnt seem interested in licking it off. I am taking this with me to his next Vet appointment hoping that the Dr. Will recommend it to others.

We recently adopted a 5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We noticed that the top of her snout was very rough and cracked. After searching on line for possible causes the advice was to use a balm to moisturise the snout (I am aware that some people are saying to use Vaseline however this is discouraged online due to possible ingestion).I chose 'Snout Soother' and couldn't be more pleased. Yes, the tin is very small (as reported in some reviews) however I have used it twice a day for the past 11 days and still have half a tin left.The improvement is greatly visible (see photos).Will continue to use on a regular basis.

Very very small pot but works wonders. My dogs must was really dry and within 2 dsys it had begun to clear. He didn’t seem to object either, so it is it obviously gentle

This product has done wonders for my dogs nose, before it was very dry and flakey. I applied a small amount each day for a week and there is a huge difference. Almost all of the dry, crusty bits have gone.I was originally disappointed at how big the container was (smaller than a tin of Vaseline) but a little goes a long way. I know that this product will last a while.I would recommend trying Vaseline on your dogs nose first and speaking to your vet before purchasing this product.In future this product should be sent with a label or printed ingredients list for health and safety reasons, me or my dog could have been allergic to this product.
