Best camera for the price!
I bought this camera just to use as surveillance above my garage and that was after purchasing 2 Ring cameras at $200 a piece. This camera is actually on par with the Ring cameras and even has better night vision in my opinion. I see a lot of critical reviews saying it wouldn’t connect and I had trouble getting it to connect at first myself BUT after reading the instructions CAREFULLY it says this camera only works with 2.4g networks meaning for the initial setup you HAVE to set the Wi-Fi on your phone to the 2.4g connection and not 5G or it will not work. After setup you can go back to the 5G network. Video quality is better than expected but I gave 4 stars because of the motion detection. Sensitivity can be adjusted but it still picks up the the tiniest thing like cats and bugs. Otherwise this is an excellent camera and a wise buy for anyone needing video security. I wish I had seen this before spending $400 on Ring cameras. I will definitely be buying more.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU DON'T HAVE INTERNET SERVICE.
I missed "Internet Required" when I ordered camera. So I'm not able to use it.This review for AMICCOM Outdoor/Indoor 1080P, WiFi Camera with SD Storage.I did test it where Internet was available and think it's an excellent camera for the price.I don't understand why Jawa App requires you to connect with Big Brother(the manufacturer I guess) in order to do anything with camera.Without Internet to Log IN, you cannot:See Current or Past Recorded Video.Create Video mp4 files for Police if needed.Nor can you receive or review Motion Alarms.My other concern is, What is Big Brother doing, if anything, with your recorded video.If none of above apply to you, then BUY this camera.I think you'll be pleased with picture quality.I was unable to access camera via Internet from other Wi-Fi networks. I don't know if that's a camera problem or caused by network settings.

Zero stars
Waste of my time, I wasn’t even able to connect it. App would not move on from the sound signal, every time it would finish sending the sound wave it would just start doing it all over again.

What the what ?
I was under the impression that this was two cameras with lots of reviews saying they put one in the front yard and one in the back without saying they purchased two it seemed like it came with two. It’s just one camera. Then. When I purchased this item, it was five stars. Then the next day it was at three. Then going to write this review it’s back up to four and a half. It’s all over the place. I have yet to hook up this camera. I’ll go ahead and keep it. Try it out and update my review.UPDATE - same day. And I’m extremely happy with the picture and live feed of this camera.Have yet to get my SD card iN. The app is great as you can record manually into the app onto your phone. And take still pics as well.Dispite all the hardships. And getting a little angry.It’s turning out to be a good purchase to keep an eye out on the back yard. I’ll give another update when the other cam gets here. It will be on a few weeks. The second time I went to buy again just two days later... prime was not offered.

False positives on alarms overwhelming
Good camera hardware but for me the alarm feature is essentially useless. I don't think this is true motion detection but a frame difference detection. In my case I get an alarm from a shadow difference between frames from tree limbs moving in a breeze or a position change from the sun on the apps weakest sensitivity setting. Also I have successfully set the Jawa app on 2 of my android phones but when I try on my android tablet the Jawa app does not show up in the google play store which is probably going to be a showstopper for me. I may have to return this camera and search for one more capable.

Motion detection is crap
Easy to install camera. The motion detection application is useless it notifies you even when there is no on there. Other wise would been a 5 star. Motion detection is crap good camera for beginners overall.

Doesn't Pair with Phone...garbage.
Have the sound blasting during the pairing and all the camera says is to keep the phone close to the "web cam" and keep it close for a while...no linking..this this is worthless
