I was really looking forward to this adapter, however, just like the more expensive Fringer EF-XF Pro all Canon lenses are all soft in auto focus. Hopefully the third version in the near future they will finally improve this issue.

After the latest firmware update, the focusing and speed is much improved. I’d recommended this adaptor for canon users switching but wanting to keep a similar focal length.

Seller listed this product as fuji t100 compatible and it is not according to viltron customer support.This adapter is dangerous to the lens as it causes focus to spaz out and slams focus infinity.Terribly disappointed and frustrated with the seller.

I love the fact that this preserves the focal length and even improves the aperture by one stop of light. However, since there is a glass element, IQ may be affected depending on the amount of available light. It's hit and miss, but love it when it works. Definitely not at a Metabones or Sigma MC-11 level yet.Lastly and MOST importantly, update to the latest firmware. On my X-T30, my LCD and EVF would continually flicker when the camera is in AF-C and AF-S because of the focus signal coming to the camera. Unfortunately, the latest firmware available on their site as of August 2019 is 2.14. Send an email directly to Viltrox for v2.18 which should fix that problem. The only two lenses I'm still having trouble with, even with the latest firmware, are Canon 70-200 F4 IS and Canon 35mm F2. It's even an issue on my X-T1. I will report back when fixed.

Although Auto focus function is not same as fuji lens, this adapter is very usable and works well with firmware update. However, image degradation is quite obvious with lens elements of this adapter when it goes faster than its original speed.Speed boost function is handy and gives benefit for APS-C size sensor and makes it like full frame sensor in terms of light gathering. Just keep in mind that it requires more post process.If you want to use adjusted focal length, this adapter is for you, but if you care more of image quality, I recommend other AF adapter without speedbooster.
