Metra70-2002 Radio Wiring Harness for Saturn 00-05

Don’t know why they cant just make stereo wiring universal. But this adaptor harness was exactly what I need to install a new stereo in my sons Saturn

Looked on YouTube for videos on bypassing the factory amp and this product was mentioned. Only took me about 30 minutes to rewire the harness and install in the truck and it worked perfectly!

Works as intended

When I bought my 2002 Chevy Tahoe I learned that the stock amplifier cuts out low end frequencies. To combat this problem you have to either rewire everything using an external amplifier straight from the head unit, or you can bypass the factory amplifier and run the signal from the head unit itself (assuming it has a built in amplifier). So after reading about how to do that, I purchased this plug to make part of the "factory amp bypass" harness. Google "Factory amplifier bypass for 2002 Chevy Tahoe" and you should be able to find the writeup. It is not for the faint of heart or anyone without soldering skills, but once you get through it the sound is HUGELY improved. The stereo sounds so SOOoo much better now than it did before! I have a pioneer head unit, a Planet Audio subwoofer, and powerbass speakers in the doors and everything else is stock. It sounds absolutely phenomenal! So bottom line, I used this on a 2002 tahoe rewiring project. It was used to bypass the stock amplifier thanks to a very cool writeup done by someone on the Tahoe/Suburban forum. I can't review it for a Saturn, but I can say it worked great for what I needed it for.

Worked great for my 2005 Saturn L300, the universal ones in Walmart would give power but not connect to my door speakers, I was really sad. Found this for half the price, came in one damn day, hooked it up myself as a noob (it was color coded), and it worked perfectly. I’m very happy

I bought this adapter for my Saturn Vue 2003. The new radio is a famous brand, middle class / I do not want to advertise it /. The adapter has a list with a description of the cables - color and purpose. There is a full match of the colors from the adapter and those from the new radio. No special knowledge of electricity is required. I connected the cables with Wiretwist / from the smallest - Max (2) x # 16 /. 10 pieces were enough for my model. Everything turned on from the first time. I was very pleased with the purchase and saved money for service.
