bobuCuisine’s Spectacular Glass Globe Salt and Pepper Grinder Set - Easily Adjustable Grinder to Control Coarseness - Cover Lid to Keep Freshness

I needed a new S&P shakers since mine were some cheap plastic mismatched ones. I wanted ones with the opening up top and that didn't break the bank. These do not come with any salt or pepper.Pros:-Easily adjustable from fine to coarse.-Opening on top to eliminate any on the counter-Ceramic grinder-Perfect for cooking since it only takes a few quick turns-Glass bottomCons:-These are a lot larger than I imaged and I had to get used to the shape.-I almost wish they were a cylinder on top so they were a little easier to grab or at least have a texture on them.-The metal trim is flimsy but it adds to the look.-One lid sticks a little more than the other but I don't push them down all the way down.

The grinders are indeed quite attractive and work excellently. My only issue is that after I filled them and used them for a day or so I noticed a defect in the glass globe on the salt grinder. In the seam where the 2 halves of the globe are joined there is a small chunk missing. At first I thought it was a chip, but upon running my finger over it I came to the conclusion it was simply a problem in the mold when they put the two parts together. Since I had already used the grinders I decided not to return them and wait another week for replacements. I'll just use them and hope the salt globe doesn't break apart at some point.Other than this issue the grinders are very nice.

This set worked great until tonight. I twisted the adjuster on the pepper mill a bit more to maker the pepper finer and it broke. I am so bummed. It did last over 3 years, and we do use the pepper grinder more than the salt grinder but it's disappointing that products aren't quality made like in the old days. But I guess I'm old

I love kitchen gadgets and appliances. I enjoy products that are functional but also look good on my dining table or kitchen counter. I loved these grinders from the moment I got them. They worked really well and I was very enthused with the easiness of changing the coarseness (or size) setting. Unfortunately, after two months, my pepper grinder locked up and I am now unable to change it back and am stuck with nearly full peppercorns coming out. Because I was so impressed, I was planning on ordering another set so i could have a working pepper grinder again but it appears these may not be for sale anymore. Pretty bummed.

The grinders are clumsy to use, difficult to adjust and the "babu Cuisine" logo smears and streaks from just the moisture of your hand (seriously). These grinders are just okay. I rarely (if ever) use them anymore. I certainly wouldn't recommend them to a friend or anyone on Amazon. I don't understand all of the five star ratings. Oh well! I guess my standards are a bit higher higher. You'll just have to see for yourself if you insist on buying these.

These grinders are elegant looking. They are glass and did not travel well. One came broken. I will ask to have another set sent to me.I got the second set and they arrived perfectly. They are so pretty and useful. There is a clear plastic cover on top of the grinder that allows you to grand upside down into the plastic cap an amount you would like and then be able to measure it if you need to for recipes. It did not takes long to use and enjoy them. I have always had the ones that grind from the top and the salt and pepper comes from the bottom where the grinder is.On these the grinders are in the top and you tip it upside down to grind. There is a plastic top on each to keep the grinder clean and allows you to grind into the top and be able to measure the amount you have and can have freshly ground salt and pepper in recipes. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was so impressed to receive an email from BobuCuisine asking if I had received these grinders and that they were not damaged in shipment as they wanted me to be 100% satisfied. It also stated their mission was to provide world-class service to their customers. What a refreshing email. Of the many items I have ordered over my lifetime, never has a manufacturer contacted me if I was happy with their product. For that reason, along with how well made these grinders are, they have earned 5 stars!! Wish I could give them 10 stars!!!I ordered two sets, gave one to my daughter for Christmas and we both love them. They adjust easily, look so nice on the table or on the stove. I had friends over during the holidays and they immediately noticed and remarked how stylish they looked. I have no hesitation recommending these grinders to anyone. I am so sure that if anything goes wrong, BobuCuisine would stand behind them 100%!!
