LockState LS-6600-L-S 200-Code Keyless Digital Door Lock, Left-Hand, Silver

The larger base caused a bit of a challenge for installation on my gate so I did have to get a professional to make a minor gate modification to make it fit. Once it was installed it has been wonderful. The ability to issue user specific codes makes it easy to manage and it is a breeze to program and operate. The quality is superb and the locksmith that I recently had out to rekey my home was going straight back to the shop to order these up for his customers. It is very handy that I no longer have to unlock a knob and relock it every time I exit. Simply push the handle down, walk out and it locks behind you.

I have purchased several of these and I love, love, love the quality of these locks! They are easy to program and are easy to use! My business has lots of traffic and these get used extensively and I wear them out after a couple of years but that is with high usage. I am getting ready to buy another one for another door in my business.Update: I purchased this in January this year and the lock has already failed. I have been purchasing these locks for years but each time the quality of these locks get worse. I now have to replace this - 6 months later - and I am buying something different. These are cheaper priced locks but I guess you get what you pay for.....

I was really disappointed by the LockState LS-6600 and will be returning it.While the main portion of the lock seems well-built, the actual bolt into the door seems very second-rate and flimsy. Unfortunately, the stem that goes through the door and allows the handle to retract the bolt is larger than normal and won't fit the high-quality standard bolt that was already in the door.I was also irritated by the lack of installation instructions. There *are* directions for programming the lock and even replacing the tumbler, but nothing on how to get the lock installed into the door. I was finally able to puzzle out how to separate the two halves of the lock so I could install it.However, the lock is too tall! When installed, it WILL NOT FIT under the standard position for a deadbolt. It even intruded into the standard deadbolt hole, so, if you have a deadbolt installed, you can't even remove it and replace it with a cover.The final irritant was the song. When you put in the access code, the lock plays a little tune that lasts about a second, maybe two. But the lock will not unlock until the song is over, so you have to wait on it. If there's a way to disable it, it must have been left out with the installation instructions.

Installation was a breeze and the lock fits together very nicely. I use this on my bar for when distributors need to make deliveries before hours. They each have their own codes and employees use their keys. I'm glade I went with this lock. Great price for a commercial lock. I used to use the Schlages which are terrible for commercial use. I had nothing but problems, and cost more! Great lock, and recommend highly.UPDATED:This lock is not much better for commercial use. The inside of the lock came apart and we were unable to get in/out. Good for home, but not even low commercial. Only used for 3 months.

The Company I work for purchased this LockState LS6600 from me and gave me the opportunity to also install it. We have a 24 Hour Dispatch Center and we are both extremely satisfied with this Access Control System. It provides Access to all our employees (around 160 or more) and has not failed us as of yet. As a matter of fact they purchased a second lock for our Squad room.The only negative may actually have been my own fault, the battery drained after 2 months. I may have accidentally installed a used battery. Considering that we have about 160 employees using that lock at least 3 times a day that would translate to about 14,400 entries a month or 28,800 in two months this lock may not be suitable for high-traffic areas. But again it may have been due to a faulty battery. Ensure that you utilize a Heavy Duty battery for high-traffic suites!!Even with the battery running low there is a fail-safe system to "jump-start" the lock, while still keeping the interior secure and allowing access to authorized personnel only.I am now waiting for the rest of the Professional building - I'd say about 30+ doors to order these locks from me.

Very easy to install, well made and sturdy construction. The price is a gangs deal and other locks of the same quality would cost hundreds of more dollars.

This is the second one of these locks that I have had that failed within one month of the return policy. I am a Very Satisfied Amazon Prime customer, but I am extremely dissatisfied with the performance of this Lock. I have used many of this same lock in the past and I have not had an issue until these past two orders of three different locks. As a matter of fact I have at least 6 of this same lock in service that have not been an issue for many years. WHAT CHANGED .....

Quality combination operated lockset. I was a little concerned when I purchased this unit since I was accustomed to paying a lot more for similar competitive products. This unit seems well made, quality components and well engineered. Programming takes a little getting use to ... but it works as described. Does not come with the needed 4 AA batteries so I used Duracells and believe they will last quite a while (years). The whole set mounted well, looks good and feels solid so I've got to recommend it!While the included key over ride doesn't work the way I expected, it's very adequate. Be sure to order the correct handing since it's not field alterable.
