Moody Tools 57-0122 16-Piece English / Metric Mini Open End Wrench Set

I purchased these wrenches to work on film cameras and vintage typewriters. The kit is well organized and perfect for small hardware. Highly recommended.

I bought these as Xmas gift for hubby, who has recently started a hobby with electronics; mostly building Guitar Amps, dong repair work. He has many many wood working tools but was bemoaning the fact that he didn't have a good set of small sized open end wrenches - apparently none of the wood working tools were appropriate. I bought this set because other reviewers praised them for electronics work and - boy, oh boy - these were a big hit!! He loves the off-set shape, great for tight corners & weird angles and he is very happy with the quality!The top of the line stuff is outrageously expensive - this set of Moody wrenches was a perfect compromise, it's a big step up from the standard Home D and L's tools, but it won't break the bank. And it'll make you a gift giving genius!!

This set is the only way to go for tricky access jobs. Identical handles can be separated from blades - could be handy for replacing just individual blades. I want them open on my bench so pouch was not needed. I made a stand in a few minutes.

What a wonderful piece of kit! I needed a flat 5.5mm open end wrench to get back into a very tight area & found the single Moody 5.5mm wrench. Then saw the whole tool roll-up kit. Bought the 16 pieces set. I like that the blades are replaceable and available. They have simple, clear effective size markings and organized in the nice roll up. The tools have a nice blues nickel finish while the handles have a nice chrome knurled hand with a small ball end. However do take a moment and tighten all of the blades in their respective handles. So if you work on 3D printers, mini-multirotors, robotics or anything with small nuts and bolts. This piece of kit will save you a lot of time, and in turn is worth every penny. Well done Moody!

This is more for electronics or fabrication. A bit to small for larger projects. BUT good quality

I needed a set of small wrenches - both metric and English units. This fits the bill perfectly. Easy to carry in the pouch, and the pouch will keep it all nicely organized so I don't have to fumble around looking for the right size. I also like that you can replace the ends of the wrenches too if you need to, although I anticipate only light use for these - loosening and tightening nuts on clock movements, which usually doesn't require much torque to be applied. Not sure that I would use these wrenches for badly rusted and seized nuts, but I don't anticipate having to do that for my own applications.

I have worked in "Minature Scale for over Thirty Years. I have often MADE Wrenches due to purchasing something that ends up Cheap Metal or Poorly Machined.These Moody Tool Wrenches are The Finest Quality I have ever seen ​or been able to Purchase. I ~WILL BE~ Buying more of their TOOLS.

Moody makes nice precision tools. These are no exception. I would have given these 5 stars but the collet like heads that hold the wrench heads in place have a coarse thread and take some muscle to get tightened down and can come loose with rattling around in the tool tray. Good stuff
