these suckers work
had mine since ended unemployment check in 2002 that is decade and half I am actually deaf in one ear now, just died on me this week and will seek repair this thing somehow fits the trunk of my 92 cutlass and tempted to skip the amp fix and add to my car stereo use car amp, this sub cannot be topped I own bose 901s and actually got 6 cabinets who has that, so the bose try to sound like a 15" and the sub tries to sound like a 4-1/2" best of both worlds unlike all those bandpass cars play a few notes real loud this is flat to 14 cycles it is my best friend not sure why it died maybe fla heat, no a/c but do fan it, really servo loop gives such accuracy is comparable to bose small cones,

durability, sound quality and POWER
Note I didn't buy mine online but I have had mine for almost 10 years and it sounds the same. The sound quality is amazing, the bass is very tight. It sounds great on every type of music, excelling on jazz and classical but also rock and metal. Its weakness should be rap but it isn't because it has the power to shake things off the walls. (even in a big room) So of course it also sounds great on movies, from a low rumble to the biggest explosions. It never sounds boomy or like it is even working hard, even when it is shaking the place apart.Note, it does generate some heat. So let it breath or it might shut off until it cools.
