Circuit is questionable / vibration sensitive failure /test it.
Got it and tested the laser. Worked. Didn’t test the usb/presentation features. Put the pointer into my desk drawer. Tested again a day later on laser effect on certain surfaces and put it back in drawer. 2 days later pulled it out and the laser light no longer lights up. The presentation buttons still cause that blue light to indicate activity but the laser pointer functionally is dead. Though many battery but a new one shows no difference. The only guess I have is the internal circuit is very sensitive to vibration so that dropping the pointer 1 inch into a draws bottom over several days broke loose a bad solder joint or the laser diode failed. The quality of the electronics inside is this highly suspect. Returned for refund and will not use this style.

I know, one should never buy a technological gift for a wife. But my honeybun raves about the ease of using this in her speeches and presentations. So although I have not used it myself, I am merely passing on the kudos.(I do think there was a short learning curve about which buttons to push without first looking at them. Hey, technology!)

Does what it is supposed to
I like that it came with a battery, and it is very simple and straightforward. I put the usb receiver in the usb drive, and in about 10 seconds, it was working perfectly. No bells and whistles, just a clicker.

Thoughtful design
I bought this because, many times, I don't have direct sight to my computer, (I'm sitting and people are standing around the computer). It has worked flawlessly. It is easy to hold, has a clip so you can put it in a breast pocket and the USB plug snaps back into the clicker like a magnet. Buttons are easy to understand. I found this product to be ideal.
