It is a solid traditonal toolbox
This is a traditional toolbox, too bad few make like this anymore at a reasonable price. My old Craftsman 18 incher, which I've had for more than 30-35 years, was getting too full, and I just bought additional tools; so I looked for another one. Well, Craftsman doesn't make it anymore, except for a cheap alternative, and plastic box--all bad values. The brand alternatives are low quality per the reviews--and then I came upon this.It is more than I needed and almost twice of what I had wanted to pay, but it became an issue of quality--why buy the cheap stuff that many complain about, rather than something that will last? Value is not the same as cheap, and cheap is cheap, and you get what you pay for.Shame on Craftsman for discontinuing this product and abandoning its genre of customers. There is one being sold here as Craftsman but it has no reviews and is questionable, and at almost the same price.I am very pleased and glad I spent the extra money. It is solid. Except for liking my old Craftsman's twin two-way latches better, I have no other complaints. It is heavy, 13.4 lbs. net weight, so loaded up could easily be 40-50 lbs. Should be the last tool box I will ever need, along with the old Craftsman, of course. The rubber corner protectors that came with it are a joke--wonder why they bothered--the protectors do not stay glued on--and then the paint is all ruined and sticky. If they wanted to provide protectors, they should have integrated them at the factory. Sloppy, but I am not deducting points.I spray-painted mine with plastic drip to protect it, and put some duck tape on the corners.

32 inch Well made metal box. Careful with the photos in the description
Two of the photos are the 24". The one of the 32" has the handles on the end and the partial width tray. This is a well-made box. Heavy gauge, quality fitting, and a good finish. The finish seals the interior. Four plastic corner protectors are supplied but you need to glue them in place yourself. The box is so big that the end handles are a necessity. It would be nice if the center handle was recessed but not a deal breaker. The tray is a little more than half the width of the box so it can be slid to the side to access the space below. The tray is almost entirely contained in the lid so the entire bottom part is available for tools. The lid fits tight with a full width piano hinge and has no play. The latches are all metal and hook snug. If you're strong enough the center handle will lift it but loaded up it weighs a ton.I couldn't find it in the description but the info that came with it says it has a lifetime warranty. Not cheap but built last.

Heavy freakin duty
I ordered 2 for my camping Suburban. They are heavy duty and fit all my tools for the road trip truck.

Well made and sturdy except for the hasps, which are a bit weak for a box this size.
The box itself is well designed and sturdy, and the hinge seems strong. The only question I have is the hasps, which consist of 2 flip overs and one levered lock-down. The last box of this sort I had was a Husky from 50 years ago that got stolen. It had 2 of the levered loopps and one simple hasp, and was a lot stronger.

Excellent step up for my needs
I'm 45 and have gone through a ton of plastic tool boxes in my life. Never had a good solid one until now. I decided I was finally going to step up and get a quality toolbox despite the fact I'm really not really the handyman type. I've just collected quite a few tools over the years and I'm tired of the plastic ones wearing out. I almost stepped up and bought one that was close to $200, but based on the reviews on this particular tool box, I decided it would be of sufficient quality. It's strong, the latches are positive, and I don't feel like my tools are going to drop out of the bottom. There's a nice top tray with an angled divider for a set of sockets. It's also high enough that I get a decent amount of space in the bottom for a good amount of tools. Overall, this is a great product for the price.

Great Industrial Quality Tool Box
I bought a 55 piece 3/4 & 1/2 inch drive socket set with a 19" breaker bar but the plastic container it came in was poor quality and not acceptable. So I bought this Homak 20-Inch Industrial Steel Toolbox, Brown Wrinkle Powder Coat, BW00200200 and it is fantastic. Excellent quality, sturdy, will last many years. It has a divider in the top shelf for socket sets and open end wrenches and a large lower area for other tools. I am a tool freak so am considering buying another one since there is not enough room in this box for all my hand tools but I am very pleased with this it. I highly recommend it.

A solid large tool box.
The box is sturdy, does not flex, handles solid. Long enough to hold a large 'slick' and other antique tools which I use for Timber Framing. These are heavy and bulky.

Homak Manufacturing BW00200200 - seems solid for now
Homak Manufacturing BW00200200 steel tool boxSeems solid so far. The coating is textured and seems okay to hold up to the usual scuffing and scrapes but time will tell for that. A bit on the heavy side but that's to be expected from a decent thickness steel box.I do agree that the metal hasps used don't feel like they'd hold up to much wear and tear. Id assume to be replacing them at some point in the future.Comes with corner pads that I probably won't use at all. If you wanted them you will have to epoxy them to the toolbox yourself which is fine.Says made in China on the shipping box.

Big and roomy , heavy and sturdy.
The 24” box is quite roomy. The top tray has a divider that is angled to hold your sockets. Feels fairly study, I attached a strap for carrying because when loaded up with tools, I’m not sure the handle would be how you wanna carry it all the time.I feel like they could of attached the 4 rubber corner pieces instead of making you do it.Some industrial adhesive did the trick however. The price is a little steep , but considering how hard it is to find an all metal tool box.Used at work primarily.March 2021 - one of the side latches has busted. If not set on a nice flat level surface the box gets a little twisted.
