Amazing for homeowners
The thing I like best about this P-trap is the fact that EVERY connection point has a rubber washer. The P-traps they sell at home depot are a plastic-to-plastic connection where the trap meets the arm, and I never know with those if I tightened it enough until I do a water test. With this one I don't have to worry about that since the washer ensures a watertight seal even if I don't tighten it like the hulk on steroids.

Works great
Just as described and worked great. I'm a big fan of the rubber seals. This is my first time using them so can't say if they will last indefinitely like as the plastic ones but they feel much nicer in use. Honestly the old standard plastic seals never gave me any trouble as far as leaks or anything. But even when everything was together and tightened up you could shift the pipes around a little bit and feel the seals slipping in the joints. Like I said, never had any trouble with leaks from them but they just never really seemed that nice or instilled much confidence till you watched them for a few days and made sure nothing was dripping or needed a little extra tightening. With these rubber washers everything really feels nice and snug. You get everything together and give the pipes a little wiggle and everything feels tight. You can feel a little flex in the seals but you can feel its gripping onto the pipe. I don't know, they just feel like a step up quality-wise to me. I hope this TPR rubber keeps it's elastomeric properties and doesn't dry out on me.Also I like that this assembly is PVC rather than polypropylene which it seems like everything is switching to. The PP stuff just feels a little too flimsy and flexible for slip joints and tailpipe joints for my taste and I imagine it would only get more flexible with some hot water going down the pipes. Seems likely to deform or something. Just me, I prefer the more rigid feel of PVC and it's already earned my trust over the years.

Check the seals
Make sure you get the rubber seals oriented correctly or it will leak.

Quality
I think we've all been there, you go to The Home Depot, snag the 1-1/2 or 1-1/4 inch kit, expect greatness and then be let down by their junk seals they use. I tried to use a 20 Gauge chrome kit, but leaks formed near the slip joint nut and threw in the towel after trying to get it to work for an hour or so. I've ordered this kit twice, it's solid and feels of good quality. I think it's proper schedule 40, which is just icing on the cake. The seals are fantastic, rubberized vinyl (maybe?). It contains a reducer washer, which worked great when transitioning from a 1-1/4 tail piece into a 1-1/2 extension tube (not in the kit) and from there into the P-trap assembly. You'll need to pickup the 6" extension tube, which is sold separately to get the setup pictured. Happy DIY'ing.

Best P Trap Kit
I’ve installed these in all of my restrooms. That extra gasket/washer that connects the P Trap to the arm that goes into the sanitary tee is a game changer. That is the point where you are most likely to develop a leak. All have been bone dry for months!

good quality product. gets the job done. Needs better instructions.
I needed new p-trap piping for my new sink. This kit was mostly complete. If a tail extension was included it would have made it perfect. The included parts were of good quality. The included gaskets were easy to put on as they were a rubber material as opposed to plastic.I ended up needing to get an extension for the sink drain pipe.I installed it all. Had a leak at the joint where the p-trap connects to the pipe coming out from there stub out.Better instructions would have helped. On the pipe coming from the stub out put a gasket (the red band in the photo) on the the flange face that would mate with the P-trap. That stopped the leak.Sorry could not get a better photo. I was installing in-situ on a pedestal sink.If you do it correctly it is a good product. I have it 3 stars because of lack of instructions for the inexperienced DIY’er.

Good quality pvc piping
Good quality pvc piping. This is not schedule 40 piping for sure, probably close to schedule 60 equ or so... it's worth it to get PVC over the cheaper Polyproplene. Another plus is that these include rubber washers. I hand tightened all the joints and I had a small drip at the p-trap, I'll check to see if re-tightening that joint doesn't solve the problem. I'm real happy with this, my friends got a new sink and a plumber charged $75 to connect the disposer. I was able to do it for just over $10 (well the glue was another $8) with parts that I liked. If you are going to use a disposer, make sure you get this kit, the rubber seals dampen any residual vibrations that could cause other cheaper pipes to crack, causing a disaster down the road.

This is the 3rd one of these I've bought. This pack basically has everything you need
This is the 3rd one of these I've bought. I've been remodeling my bathrooms one by one over the past 2.5 years. This pack basically has everything you need, no matter your sink configuration... unless you have something super-unusual going on down there. :) It includes more parts and gaskets than you'll need, because it accommodates various sink drain sizes/diameters and types. So, some parts will go unused. I've had my first one now for about 2.5 years. None have ever leaked. You can use a PVC glue, but it is not necessary, due to the compression gaskets, which form a very good seal. I did not use any glue. I did the installation myself and I found putting these on very easy. And I'd buy again... if I had another bathroom left to re-do. I always read reviews before purchasing, and find some quite helpful, so I hope you find this review helpful!
