No More Diapers (Big Steps)

Overall good book - here's an overview of what's included
I found that I couldn't find pictures of this one inside, nor were the reviews very detailed. I bought it anyway. Here's what's included: - Mo and Milly are wearing diapers and playing - Mo and Milly go shopping and pick out their own potties and underwear - Milly goes to the potty and there's toilet paper - Mo tries to go but nothing comes out. He waits - Milly is successful again. Mo has an accident on the floor. Try again next time! - Milly is successful (and has a pictures sticker chart) and Mo is on the toilet and is successful (with a "plop!")There are flaps and other move-able parts to the pages that are fun for kids. What I like: - I like that Mo has an accident on the floor, as it provides an opportunity to talk through what that means with your child, and how you both will react. - My child likes this book best of the 3 potty books we have. - I like the part about Mo having to sit for awhile and wait sometimes. Sometimes my child sits for 2 seconds and wants to get back up - it's nice to remind him that sometimes Mo has to sit for a bit longer and wait.Things I don't love: - On the first page, you can pull down Mo's diaper, and flip Millie's skirt up to see hers. I don't love the idea of flipping up a girl's skirt. - Millie has a sticker chart for her success. We aren't using rewards, so it isn't relevant to us. I just don't point it out when we read that page, but you may feel more strongly about this than I do.I think this is a good addition to a potty-training library, but I wouldn't get JUST this book if you're only buying one. I like the Dino Potty book best, as it includes all of the steps involved with using the potty (but doesn't include things like an accident on the floor).

Very helpful with easing potty training
My son love this book. It has helped very much with his potty training journey. Now he go to his potty when he feels he need to.

Hilarious
I think I like this book more than my son! Maybe it’s just the straight forward way it’s written and the lovable character Mo but I just get a kick out of it every time. It’s a great realistic story of getting and using a potty and my 1.5 year old easily connected his new potty to the story. While the quality of the book is really nice, I do recommend reinforcing the flaps with tape if your child is an enthusiastic flap opener because they began to tear quickly.I loved this book and will look to this series to introduce other big changes for my son in the future.

This book was an instant hit but….(see full review)
The media could not be loaded. My toddler is 2.5 . This book was An instant hit…She loves this book. My low rating is because the door to the washer came off in less than a month, two more of the flaps will soon come off . Disappointed. More Thought should have went into making this long lasting because we are dealing with toddlers.

Learning to Poop like Mo
Love this book! It’s so straight forward and the tips are great for parents. The only thing I don’t like is that it does not offer insight around training pants. I will say my son pooped on his potty the day after reading this book for the first time. It helped a lot.Spoiler Alert: at the end Mo figures out how to poop on the toilet. My son now yells “Mommy, I poop like Mo!” now when he needs to go to the bathroom... so that’s been endlessly entertaining.

Toddler loves it
My 21 month old loves books with flaps, and this is no exception! She really likes to read it and turn all the flaps. I'm hoping that it helps with potty training, but that is yet to be seen.

Good book, but not durable
I love the book and my daughter loved it too so much that it has already fallen apart. The little flaps to pull down and pull back have already torn off. I guess that is expected for this age so not sure if something needs to be a little bit more durable for them wanting to open and close and pull down things repeatedly.

Love All Big Steps Books
My daughter absolutely loves all the big steps books. I have actually had to replace them because she tares the flaps up. They are well made, she is a rough two year old. We are really hoping this potty book helps give her the urge to want use the potty.
