100% Pure Kona Private Reserve Coffee - 1 Pound Whole Bean French Roast by Mountain Thunder Coffee Plantation

There are two really Great Kona Coffee's being sold. Amazon amazingly carries one of them- Mountain Thunder 100% Kona Coffee. I prefer their French Roast, but their other Roasts are also equally superior, in my opinion, to other almost all other brands of Kona. Amazon does not carry my all time favorite, as they are a smaller grower so I am not going to mention them here. If you can find 100% Kona Peaberry it is worth the extra few dollars, but Mountain Thunder's Private reserve is very close to its Peaberry beans. If you haven't had 100% Kona Coffee you really don't know what you are missing.

Mountain Thunder along with Blue Horse are our go to Hawaiian premium KONA coffee growers and brands. We recently tried the 100% Organic Kona Coffee - Vienna Roast, Whole Bean, Kealakekua Estate and we where very impressed. We also ordered the 100% Kona Coffee - Private Reserve - Whole Bean - French Roast and will be trying that coffee next to determine which roast suits our taste more. Definitely on our short list for re-orders. Enjoy !!!!

We took the tour while on the Big Island and bought a bag at the time. After running out of that bag I had to have some more of this delicious bean. If you have never had 100% Kona Coffee then give in to temptation and treat your soul with some Mountain Thunder coffee.

I did a stretch and ordered this along with another uniquely Hawaiian coffee and we love it...just wish we could somehow get it for less $$. But the best is usually expensive!!

Excellent flavor and body. Used for personal use

We are SO, SO disappointed! This is so NOT worth the money cuz it tastes like a cheap diner's coffee that just colors their water & calls it coffee. It's not a matter of needing 2 use more beans nor the maker we made it in. Tried both a drip maker & French press & added the proper amt of beans. This is false advertising, we would say cuz it simply cannot be true Kona coffee.Ugh! We r so mad that we didn't listen 2 the reviewers. We thought it's a matter of taste, which can vary greatly from person 2 person. We thought just this once we'd splurge & treat ourselves 2 something really nice 4 our anniversary! I just hope this review helps others not 2 waste their hard-earned money on this. Go buy the cheapest store brand u can find & u'll be tasting what we tasted with this coffee. 😥😥😥😫😣
