Soft TPU Bumper Frame Case Cover Side Protection for Iphone 6 4.7 Inch Case for Iphone 6 4.7inch (Black)

I love these bumpers, they are very low cost, does a decent job protecting against drops. It keeps the phone thin and light. There are quite a number of vendors selling these bumpers and found the quality to vary from great to so-so. I must be tough on these because the buttons and black rubber strip comes off ultimately. I bought one for my friend and his button came off and they glued it back and had no problems since (>1 yr,) while I went through 3 of them. Still I love these bumpers, but why do I still buy it when it comes apart on me? They tend to cost <$2, sometimes $1 shipped, you can't beat them, I just buy a few of them at a time. For the life of the phone, I never spend more than the price of a good case. I don't know the quality of the ones I just got, but for the years I've been buying these, I don't expect them to be perfectly durable and long lasting. I treat them as disposable wear items.

Seems like an awful lot of variation in buyer satisfaction with this bumper-only case, but my experience with it has been good. This is actually the second of its kind that I have owned, the first purchased at a retail store shortly after buying my iPhone 6. That one held up for over a year until it gave its life in a drop onto cobblestone pavement (iPhone unharmed!). This one looks and functions almost exactly the same as the first one (for which I paid a lot more) so I expect it to perform similarly. I personally would own no other type of case than a bumper. It protects the edge of the phone and makes it grippier without messing with the design of the phone or making it bulkier. Rather than buy it from one of the super-cheap direct from China sellers, I paid a few bucks more to get it from an Amazon fulfilled dealer. Maybe that's the secret to getting one that will hold up.

I purchased this bumper because I hate the bulk of the Otter Box cases. I just wanted protection when placing phone down on table from scratching and above all wanted a better grip on the phone. My last phone (iPhone 4) had just a bumper and I loved it's minimalistic protection. This is similar but has less rubber on the side than my last one which makes the grip not quite as good. I would have rated it 5 stars if it just had slightly better grip.

Edit: The original case broke after 8 months. Not bad for a cheap case. However, when I went to repurchase, the same case no longer existed. The case was not soft and rubbery around the edges anymore. Instead it was all hard plastic. In case you didn't realize this, but plastic is slick and doesn't stretch. Getting it off of the phone is nearly impossible because it's just hard plastic that won't stretch. I ended up throwing it away. Do not buy this. Save your money for a better case.Original: I love this bumper. Everything is wonderful about it! Except the buttons... Do not play with the buttons. If you mess with them too much, they will pop off easily. I have a bad habit of messing with the buttons in my pocket, and today, the button just popped off with ease. However, I super glued it, and it works fine. I would love a better solution for the buttons, but everything else is wonderful. The design of the case is attractive, it provides grip, and it feels great in my hand. I would highly recommend this product, especially for the price. Just remember to be careful with the buttons. The buttons would be fine just from general use, but don't do anything that isn't pushing them. I like this case much more than my $20 Spigen Neo Hybrid case. Surprisingly good quality for the price!

It's a decent case, however it's pretty cheap and the buttons fell off within 2 weeks of use. I dropped my phone and the case DID safe my phone from shattering however the cheap hard plastic was broken and would jab into my pocket.

so far good bumper case - i like how there is nothing covered other than the edges. Some protectors turn brown due to finger dust over time, and this one seems to hold up well. Plus when i set it on the table the rubber edges keep my camera lens from hitting the table or other surface that its set on. I would definitely buy again. but they take FOREVER to arrive lol - this is to be expected based on origin.

I just bought my second one, and I think I'm going to buy another to keep one on hand. First one lasted over a year, but I take good care of my phone. I've dropped it in the house a few times and one of the buttons fell off. I just removed the bumper and superglued the button back on.If you're into bumpers like me, I highly recommend. All buttons and access ports are accessible.

Received November 21 2015 and less than 3 months later the black rubber is separating from the clear plastic. For the price though I'm still ok with this purchase. I don't want a bulky case but wanted something to provide a little more grip on the sides of the phone. It does that.
