good sound, great looks, plush cans at a spectacular price.
I love these headphones. I am currently using them to listen to vinyl, and being able to change the length of cord that runs from the can is fantastic as I have 12' of wiggle room now. The Looks are impressive, they convey the best parts of classic american audio equipment and next to my turn table set up they look right at home. The sound is great... I'm sure there are better headphones around, you could pick up a $500 pair of some hifi cans that will give you better sound than a live concert and you should try those someday, but for the price you cannot beat this pair. As far as comfort goes I can see how these would be too heavy for some listeners. I certainly am aware I am wearing headphones the whole time I have them on, but I'm a big dude with a big head and this really is not an important factor for me and despite knowing that I have them on they never hurt like other over ear phones. These things were plush.

My mic only has 1 button
I had the previous model and like the way they sounded, but not the way they fit, so sold them and upgraded to these, and I really like them. The reason for the three star rating is that the title line isn't what I received. While the package did have the model 45sv2 DJ/studio headphones, it didn't include a 3 button mic.

Eskuche is by far the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to do business with.
Eskuche is by far the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to do business with. I would criticize their customer service, but there is none. I can, however share my criticism of their repeatedly defective products.I loved the first pair of Control v2 headphones I got from them. They had an awesome, distinctive look, great sound, and I got compliments on them all the time. 3 months later they stopped working. I loved them so much, I just went ahead and bought another pair. Same situation. Great headphones in this case for 5 months before they stopped working in the exact same way. The audio became screwed up so that one channel sounded like it was playing through a long tunnel--vague, muted, and echoey. I sent a message to Eskuche directly through their website asking if this was a known defect, or if maybe there was something I had done to cause the problem (I'll mention that my headphones are a prized possession and I take very good care of them--travel pouch when they're in my bag, gentle handling, etc.). I waited, but never heard back from them. At this point, I guess I made a rather foolish mistake. I liked these headphones so much (when they were working) that I bought a third pair. This time a step up to the 45Bv2 DJ/Studio model. I thought maybe the more expensive headphones were less likely to pose a problem. These were so nice. Amazing sound. Killer look. 3 months later, the EXACT SAME PROBLEM occurred. So, I decided to contact Eskuche again. I sent emails to both of the addresses they provide for contact (info@..... and cs@.....) describing the problem in detail and asking for any information they could provide on the defect. I kid you not, I have now sent Eskuche eight (8) emails over the course of 2 months and have heard nothing back at all. No information about this being a known defect. Nothing to say anything about a warranty or a replacement. Nothing even to suggest that something I had done was maybe a problem (treatment, media compatibility, etc.). Just nothing at all.In my emails, I have continued to say how much I have enjoyed their products when they function, and made it plain that I have been a loyal, repeat customer. I want to think the best of businesses I buy from, and trust that they stand by their products. I have never written a negative review on Amazon or any other website of any kind. But let me say this now in no uncertain terms:Eskuche is not a trustworthy business. They do not stand by their products. They do not care about their customers. They do not deserve your money.

decent
I just got these for use on airplanes when using my laptop or dvd player. I haven't tried any other pairs since most don't fit my head. I am sort of an audiophile so remember that when I unrealistically compare these to floor speaker sound.Comfort- I had to adjust pads every 15 min to change pressure point. Dont feel any discomfort with padded headband. Headphones wt is noticeably on your head, I doubt you'll forget they are on your head..Looks- I feel like a Martian wearing these in public. 70's style may not be as hip as designers think. Do not buy these for a teenager.Sound quality- Fidelity- lacks crystal clarity throughout all ranges.Treble- I don't notice the high octaves such as a triangle.Midrange- It mainly plays in this range with a lack of definition.Bass- It does have some thump to it at high volumes. At lower volumes, I don't notice low end clarity.Audiophiles look elsewhere but if you just want decent sound then these are satisfactory.I also bought these at best buy for $30 since they were being discontinued. These are not worth $100 plus dollars.I'll updated the review after my next plane trip.P.S. I listen to amplified Polk RTI-A9s at home and a Pioneer head unit in my car so my review of these may be a bit harsh.
