Sterling Silver Opal Ring

Looks cheap. Does not have the .925 stamp. Sizes run large.
Ring does not appear to me to be sterling silver. It does not have the .925 sterling silver stamp on the inside as described in description. Looks more like stainless steel to me. Also, the "opal" looks like a glittery composite material to me. It is very cheap looking. Ring size was about 1½ sizes too big so if you decide to order, go at least a size smaller than you think you need. I am returning this item **First photo shows this item (top) next to an actual .925 sterling silver and opal ring for your comparison**

Very nice ring
Very cute dainty ring Looks pretty much like the picture show it. I am allergic to nickel and this is the first piece of jewelry that I’ve had claiming to be nickel free and I would have to say so far so good.

Beautiful, elegant opal ring with colors!
I gave this ring to my petite 20 year old daughter for Christmas. The ring looks fantastic on her! Opals are so useful- sometimes my daughter dresses a little bit on the “classy yet surprise accent of several black zippers” or black leather boots with jeans and a top that looks like she has been at a city museum all day. The point is no matter which clothing mood she is in, this opal ring will fit that outfit. The ring is well made and the opal is full of colors when the light hits it.

Stone looks cheap
While the band on this ring was sturdy and thick, the stone looked kind of cheap. Unfortunately the band size also ran a little big for me, so I ended up returning. If the stone would have looked nicer, I would have exchanged for a smaller size, but it wasn't a win for me.

Does not look like photo
This is not bright silver as shown in the stock photo. It is dark silver/dark gray and the stone is green. It's pretty, but I wasn't expecting green. The 6.5 is too big, and I always wear a size 6.5. It looks very delicate in the photo, but is thicker and less delicate in person, which means it feels clunkier and not really comfortable. I will keep it though, hoping it gets more comfy just wearing it.

It is a! really pretty ring!
My birthstone is Opal. I have many pieces of jewelry that are genuine opals set in gold that have been gifts thru the years. I never had much sterling silver. Recently I have received gifts in sterling with opals. Even though I am retired and in my eighties I still like to wear my jewelry every day. I picked this ring to wear with opal studs and a pretty sterling /opals bracelet given to me by my granddaughter. It is very nice.

Durable
Ive been wearing daily for weeks now and so far so good. Color has not changed, I am a nurse so this ring sees lots of hand sanitizer, soap, and water.

Crappy
The stone is very pretty in person and it appears nice however it broke very quickly. The break is just on the top of the ring near the twist so not even on the underside wear you would expect a impact break. I ordered a size 5 my daughter didn't wear it everyday/all day and never in the shower very disappointed in the quality of this product.
