My feet can breathe! I’ve been getting into running and let me tell you how much more comfortable it is having a wide toe area versus a narrow one. It makes all the difference. I really love the Velcro strap on the side because it allows you to get the fit you’re most comfortable with and feel secure without being too tight. The shoes themselves are lightweight and flexible. They really do give that barefoot feeling where if you step on a pointy rock then you’re going to feel it. But on the other hand it is also very freeing and you feel more connected with the ground as you run. Definitely a great trail shoe. It is breathable and has the ability to drain water.

I'm a true size 9 in every brand. I bought the 9-9.5 hoping they would be large enough that I could put my orthotics for plantar fasciitis into them and they fit perfectly! They might be a bit large without socks. I wear then peds. I've been wearing them all day for over a month and my pain is gone and they have held up very well. They are the closest I've found to an older pair of NB Minimus shoes that they don't make anymore. I bought a pair of Grounded shoes last year for $75 and they fell apart within a few weeks. These are showing no signs of wear yet. I wear them along the river on uneven dirt and rocky surfaces, along the paved river paths and in the sandy foothills. I've gotten them wet and they dry just fine. They have enough of a sole and treads to keep you cushioned with traction, but not so much that you can't feel the ground under you. I bought a pair of Altas that I wear in winter, but they are too heavy and clunky for summer. These are lightweight so that I don't feel my feet overheated in the high desert 100+ degree temps. The laces are not needed, at least for me; they come on and off like water shoes. I bought both the gray and pink and the black ones to see which I like best, but am keeping them both. Highly recommend!

These are great hiking shoes. I’ve been wearing these around the house to get acclimated and they are extremely comfortable. I wanted to see how they would be on a trail. I just did a challenging 3.6 mile hike at Catawba Falls in North Carolina. The shoes did very well on the trail. Also, I needed to cross a creek and do some minor climbing and these were perfect. You can move your toes/feet to grip. The only downside is that if the trail has lots of rocks or gravel, you can feel them. They still provide cushion and support, but it may be uncomfortable if it’s a long stint of rocky terrain. For me, these are great and help with balance. They’re very lightweight and have a wide toe box. Not the most attractive shoe but who cares when you’re in need comfort and support. I recommend these if you’re hiking on a well-worn dirt trail or paved trail.

I was skeptical at first of zero drop shoes, but as soon as I put these shoes on I loved them. They slipped right on and were true to size. I walk in them and work out in them. I sometimes have foot pain while exercising, but not while I wear these wonderful shoes. I highly recommend them for all ages!

I ordered these after reading all the reviews and listening to my husband tell me for the past 2 years to try barefoot shoes. He's on his 2nd pair of $120 Vibram barefoot shoes and did a ton of research before buying them. And he kept telling me that they help his ankles (after many running ankle sprains) and his back. I went with everyone's advice and sized up - I wear a 6 1/2 sneaker and I ordered the 6.5-7 and they were way too big (even the all black pair, that people say run small). So I sent them back and ordered the 5.5-6 and they are perfect. I don't understand the "zero drop" in the description, because the inserts are the teeniest bit higher in the back, and my husband's Vibram's do not have inserts, and he said the whole point of barefoot shoes is not to have a rise - it's super slight with the inserts, but it's still there. So I took my inserts out and wear them without. It's harder on my feet, but per his advice, I am wearing them on one walk a day, so my feet can get use to them. (Oh, today with lots of errands, I put the inserts in! SO much easier on my feet, but to get the true "zero-rise" and barefoot benefits, I'm going to take them out for one dog walk a day, to get my feet use to them! He said it takes a while.) The reason I bought these (after telling my husband how ugly his are for 2 years) is because I rolled my ankle, and it's 6 weeks later, but still tender. And every time I run to the store in my Hokas my ankles start to really hurt after one errand, or one short walk with the dog. My orthopedic slippers were doing the same thing - and it wasn't until I started walking barefoot at home - which I never do because of our tile - my ankle was finally feeling better! My Hokas and slippers are SO supportive that they roll my foot in or out (not sure which), and my ankle is getting super sore super fast, and I'm actually convinced these are already helping, after only 2 days. I just ordered a 2nd pair for around the house - my 2nd pair are the black pair with the brown soles, and they are slightly bigger than the all-black ones. But they're still great. Looking forward to seeing if they help with my lower back pain! I also like being able to wear regular socks. My husband's Vibram's have the individual toes and I've had to buy him many pairs of toe socks!

I really wanted to like these shoes! I have another pair of barefoot shoes and have gained so much balance and mobility in my feet and ankles that I wanted to add another pair. I tried these (not my original brand) because they seemed to have all the attributes I was looking for, plus a little thicker sole to support my feet during outdoor activities. They arrived quickly, looked great and I put them on. I was so disappointed - they were too small! The thicker sole - while I hoped would be a plus- seems to curve up around the toes, preventing the wide spread that barefoot shoes are known for. It actually crowded the toes. The fit of the rest of the shoes, from ankle to ball of the foot, seemed fine. Comfortable. But the fit around the toes simply wouldn’t be comfortable, so I have to return them. I may try a larger size to see if that works, but not certain at this point. I have a three star rating because the shoes are well made, sturdy, attractive. If the wide toe fit isn’t what you are looking for, this would be a great shoe.

I have wide feet and high arches and these shoes are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever put my feet in. I was barefoot for the majority of my childhood and most of my young adult life I wore converse or flats. Any time I try to wear tennis shoes my feet and calves cramp and I can only wear them for a very short time. A family member gave me some hokas not too long ago and while they are comfy, I find that my feet slide off their super thick sole if I wear them on uneven ground. We have a small homestead and I work outside all day every day and I had just started wearing sandals or swim shoes to work outside in because all my other shoes were very uncomfortable. I ordered these because I felt like they were a cross between a swim shoe and tennis shoes, they had a wide toe box for my wide feet, and they looked easy to slip off and on. They have met or exceeded every expectation! I've had no problem with my feet slipping and sliding around in the shoe. The sole is thick enough that walking on rocks doesn't hurt my heels, which has been a problem with my swim shoes and sandals. 2 years ago I stepped on a rock and bruised my heel so bad that it hurt constantly for a solid year. I do NOT want to do that again. I'm on my feet all day every day and the majority of that time is spent on rock so I definitely need a good sole. These shoes are great at offering the protection I need without having a big bulky sole, plus they offer the perfect amount of support my feet need and are still flexible enough to make walking on uneven ground easy. I really can't wait to test these out when we go huckleberry hunting. I always wear my swim shoes when we go because I usually wind up climbing up a steep hillside several times in search of an untouched patch of huckles. The tread on the sole looks incredibly grippy and I'm hoping that is the case.... we will see very soon if they are! I can't wait to put them to the test. These are so comfortable and I really bought them to be my designated work shoes but I'm probably going to buy another pair or two in different colors. I got the blue ones and they are very bright, I love the color but they don't match much of my wardrobe. So I'll probably order some in a more neutral color for going to town. The first day I had them I wore them without socks, which was what I hoped to be able to do, however, since I don't really wear "real" shoes very often, they were starting to rub my heel. I have been wearing some light low cut socks and that solved that problem. Not sure if it was the shoe or if it was my heel, but everything is good now that I am wearing socks. Time will tell on how durable these shoes are, but rest assured I will be putting them through the wringer. They feel very durable, hopefully they will last me a long time. I really like them so far and want some more!

W20 size 9 EUR 40 Literally so amazing. They could sell these for more in my opinion. Quality is amazing. My friend let me borrow her pair for an outdoor waterpark and climbing center. I immediately ordered a pair. She wears a 39 so the ones she let me borrow were snug. Ordered my exact size and they are so perfect. They look really nice and sleek. A wonderful walking and gym shoe. As far as playing some sort of sport in them or running They wouldn’t be my pick, just because they loosen a little as the day goes maybe would slide a little. Definitely a great shoe for comfort and functionality. Also great for wide feet.

Comfortable, slightly padded WOMEN's barefoot style shoe. I bought my normal size listed as 6.5-7 which is marked on the shoe and fits as an EU37. Very happy. Review ADD ON: I also bought my husband a pair of these shoes listed as RED/KNIT Size 9-9.5. He normally wears a MENS 7-7.5. The shoes are marked as EU40 and fit him perfectly.

These are very comfortable. Great for broad feet. Amazing grip. Added a video trying to push my foot on a very slippery floor. Impossible!
