It's hard to take something so standard as a vise grip and get excited about it doing what it's supposed to - unless you've tried a pair that didn't work! The pin is properly sized for a 5/8" jig table, slips in easily and locks securely. The grip release works smoothly and the "speed handle" style of screw adjuster is a great idea and helps to quickly adjust while you're setting your work piece.I would have rated them 5 stars but they're quite expensive, a little too much so. I bought a bunch of cheap vise grips and cut the lower jaw off and welded a 5/8" bolt on. They work almost as well, the throw isn't quite as far on my $5 home made version but the cost is easier to swallow. If you have the money just buy these, you'll be pleased with the mechanical quality and performance even if the cost is pretty high.

This is the second one I bought--first one had trouble locking and was very sensitive to popping open. I eventually got it to work. This one would not lock regardless of tension until there was zero tension on it at all. I'd not purchase another--will only get Armor from here on out as I have many of them and they work flawlessly. I wanted to like it since it was about half the cost, but you get less than you pay for in this case. I don't recommend.

I have several other sizes of these clamps and they work great. I bought these thinking I would get the same great clamp.Not so.The unit will adjust and close, but will not clamp as the handle touches the internal surface before "lock down". am returning these and having to spend more to get a larger size that works.

Built a a fabrication table and had been making my own table clamps, but figured I'd try this product out. It works great unless trying to clamp something down to the table less than a 1/4", so I have discs to use as pads to secure it in place - and therefore I have no issues...

The add says Build Pro which I do not believe. I have a number of their other clamps and this one is one of the cheapest tools I have ever purchased

Far too expensive! Jaws don't close far enough. I'll weld a 5/8 bolt on a cheap one next time. Do like the crank adjuster tho!
