I purchased this primarily for use with a Raspberry Pi and a growing collection of "mini" consoles.I've only used this via HDMI so far but my Pi and C64 mini work perfectly with this and are presented clearly and colourfully. Apart from being small (as expected on a 10.1", 1080p display), text on the Raspberry Pi is bright, sharp and easy to read.The unit is ultra-light. It almost feels like an empty case. The case also has holes for a VESA mount on the rear, so I may consider mounting a Pi directly to the back of this monitor using a case made and sold specifically for this purpose.I've been considering a small display for use with the Pi for a while and decided I don't need a touchscreen for use with the Pi.I had considered (and ruled out) an official Pi touchscreen, mounted in a third-party case but decided 1080p was more important than a touch interface. The Official Pi touchscreen doesn't currently offer full 1080p and according to reviews here on Amazon, the viewing angles are a little restrictive. Some third-party cases also require the official touchscreen to be mounted upside down, meaning the already diminished viewing angles are impacted further still.No such problems here. The picture quality and viewing angles on this display are fantastic. Viewing the screen at (what I expect would be) everyday viewing angles results in very little colour-shift, meaning you don't need to be sat squarely in-front of this screen to use it.

Great monitor really clear could do with a remote control

Used as a cctv monitor and perfect for what I need very light. Needed a bit of a wiggle to get the mini hdmi cable in its port very pleased

 Pros:1) Great, colourful display! It has very little light bleed and viewing angles are great! No colour shifts occur when shifting the display which is great at this budget!2) It comes with a stand which unfortunately, I cannot review as my second hand unit did not have a stand included3) It also comes with an HDMI cable which also unfortunately I cannot review as mine didn't come with one.4) The buttons are very nice and tactile and give a lot of feedback when pressed.5) The 2 inputs (HDMI and VGA) are nice to have as you have options to choose. Both work great but for some reason mine only went up to 900p on VGA6) There is also an AUX port which comes in very useful when you want to plug in a pair of headphones or speakers.7) The screen does have an anti-glare coating which is very much appreciated and will reduce reflections drastically.8) It is very solidly built and the chassis is all made out of metal which is cold to the touch and feels very sturdy9) This also comes with speakers built in which are pretty good for what they are (although they are not the best quality).Cons:1) Fingerprints are very visible on the metal layer which does annoy me as it leaves a mark on the monitor.Great monitor for the price, and it would certainly do very well as a CCTV monitor and also as advertised above, as a mini PC desktop station! Would 100% recommend!

Super lightweight for easy travel. I purchased this to use as a spare monitor for troubleshooting systems on the go. I have no problem recommending it to anyone with similar requirements. Easy to travel with, compact, multiple options to mount it if needed (Vesa, tripod, and another that I do not recognise).

The resolution is fantastic on this monitor. I cannot complain how clear the picture is on this small monitor! its got slight viewing angle issues and a bit of bleeding but i got this for making a classic gaming console so these dont bother me. The display comes with hdmi and power adapter. The stand is useless i would suggest buying a new stand. The buttons are easy to use but a remote would of been a bonus. But nonetheless, its great to use for anything with a hdmi port, i even used it as a second screen on my pc.

I have a Raspberry Pi that I wanted to use to explore ARM assembly language. Setting up the Raspberry Pi is easy and it takes up little space. BUT, it requires a monitor. Using my computer monitor was a pain (change over of leads, ack of portability).The Koolertron monitor is very light and portable. It is easy to use (just plug it in) and it makes the whole set up highly portable and manageable (I've even considered taking it on holiday). The display is excellent and it appears to be true native HD, unlike many other small displays.I am very pleased with the results.

Quick setup, VGA and HDMI choices. Even audio over the HDMI or 3.5 jack input. Really versatile also for field use.
