Thank You Notes by Jimmy Fallon (23-May-2011) Paperback Paperback – 1600

I couldn’t get past all the fat jokes. I know we should be able to laugh at everything but some didn’t even make sense. One was an image of an overweight woman on the beach in a small bikini talking about having no shame. I think that’s wonderful to not feel shame over your body so the joke did nothing for me. There was also a joke about fat thighs rubbing against each other in corduroy pants. Legs touching and not having a thigh gap does not in any way make the legs fat. I generally did not laugh a lot reading the thank you notes and the fat jokes made it even more difficult to even crack a smile on any joke. Do better Jimmy.

Even if you haven't seen this segment on Late Night, you will quickly begin to appreciate the tone and humor of these little notes. A few will make you chuckle out loud. Others you may memorize to repeat to your friends. It is typical Jimmy Fallon satire. Funny.However, the notes are short, and there is a full page picture to accompany each one. So you work your way through pretty quickly, and how many times can you reread a joke book? I am not sure that the book was worth the price. I would have liked to receive it as a gift, and I have enjoyed loaning it to a few friends. Maybe you can find a sale.

A fun, easy gift for any Jimmy Fallon fan. Cute appearance of the pages and plenty of funny thank-you notes.Not too much rereading potential, obviously.

Super funny book. Jimmy Fallon and his team know how to write a good thank you note, which is something that has been lost on this generation. I love that they are willing to put some of these really funny "cards" into print. It was a big hit in the "Thank You" gift basket I recently gave someone.

This book has a lot of funny jokes from Jimmy Fallon, I really enjoyed reading it. However, it is definitely on the short side, with the book containing 164 one to three sentence jokes. If you watch Jimmy Fallon, then you know the format of the Thank You Notes and how funny they are. You will also probably remember most of the jokes in the book, though there were a decent amount of new ones. For six bucks, I enjoyed reading this, and I'm sure it will make a great coffee table book. If anyone buys this for the list price, twelve bucks, they might be a bit dissatisfied.In the end, this is a really funny little book from my favorite late night host, and I don't mind supporting the show by buying the book. :)

It's Jimmy Fallon so you know it's funny. I bought this for my daughter's 12th birthday, as she's a big Thank You Notes fan. She read it quickly and donated it to our stash of bathroom reading. Fun to read and a good laugh, we'll be ordering the second edition as well.

Oh Jimmy Fallon....you are freakin' hilarious! I laughed out loud from about 98% of your Thank You notes!! Of course its much more funny to hear Fallon himself read the thank you notes but, if you just picture him while reading them, it's just as funny! On the downside, I paid $8 to download this book which, I think, is a bit much for how short it is. Otherwise, it's most definitely worth reading!

I ordered this as a gift. It came quickly and my husband, the receiver of the book, really liked it. It's very simple it's just thank you notes. But it's funny.
